Thanks bro! I grew up wanting a Neo-Geo, there was no way I could ever have an arcade machine, and I never did pull the trigger on an AES, which I'm very thankful for. This MVS 1-C console is versatile, inexpensive, and easy to collect for. I couldn't have had that with an AES, and every MVS cab I've seen, needs tons of TLC just to get right.

1- Turn based RPG's (when I get time) 2- Time, not enough. 3 - Educational 100%. 4 - I don't like that newer videos games because they cost way to much and need huge updates. 5 - I spend barely anything nowadays because I have too many already. 6 - Favourite console (Nintendo 64). 7 - Favourite video game also N64. 8 - Video game movie? Pass. 9 - Gilius Thunderhead. 10 - Sports mainly soccer. Loved this video Jon!

These answers leave me with so many questions! But I won't ask them, I'll just make a statement or two. For loving turn based RPGs so much, you sure picked a favorite console that doesn't have many. 😅 I like (American) football video games, but I don't like Soccer video games, they aren't realistic enough for me!

It's grown on me Lot of late. First seeing it i thought it was just another copy of mortal kombat, but neogeo games never fail. They always win out in the end.💪💪

@@TheRetroManRandySavage It seems almost too simple, right? Only four buttons, one of which changes rows. Then you realize there are different attacks for nearly every stick position with a strike.. it's quite a deep game! 💪🕹️📽️

It was a workout for sure! My arm is still tired, and I recorded that weeks ago! 😅 Joe is my favorite, he's the perfect balance between a zoner and a heavy.. he might not have as many long combos as some other characters, but he's great against another live opponent! Thanks for watching!

This game is one of my favs. Is it perfect? NO. But the more you get into it the more you realize how good it is. The sword mechanic how you get stronger and can swing it faster is an awesome touch no other game I've played has. Some kind of mapping would've made it really good. If you don't believe me, what are you going to argue with Cobra Commander? lol

Mastering those special attacks can certainly make a difference, that revenge on Billy was brutal, even picked up a perfect victory. Think I've seen my least favourite character in this run for sure, safe to say unless some world record player comes in like in my Mario challenge you'll take the win here buddy haha.😉 Very well played a pleasure to watch Jon.🕹👊🍀

@@Pjvenom1985 the special attacks are most certainly important, as they build the power meter.. with H-power, they allow air blocking, and some dynamic moves, like turning mid-air, and landing on your feet after taking a hit.. ultimately, when fully filled, they allow the usage of the Super Power move. That was a real treat to see Jay the Wook's skills on display. Someone will do better than my run, I've done better myself, on separate occasions. There is always someone better, somewhere. I know I say it all of the time but your CRT captures are beautiful, not played this game and i'm terrible at fighting games, the music is real cool and the pixel art is beautiful, is that character actually based on Jackie Chan?

@@OfficiallyCaptured all those reasons are part of why this is my favorite fighting game of all time.. but it really comes down to the controls.. I think they might be perfect. Yes, Hon-Fu is not only based on Jackie Chan, it's based on Jackie Chan's character in SuperCop. Thanks for watching!

Jon I kid you not I'm playing the game about an hour on/off barely able to beat the first character, then realise there's differences in the version I'm playing...I downloaded Fatal Fury Special but not Real Bout Fatal Fury Special haha! Have it now though just hope I don't suck as much.😂 Definitely not naturally good at these it seems.🕹👊🍀

Oh nooooo!!! 😅 I think many people have made that mistake over the years. The Real Bout games are Fatal Fury games, but think of the correlation as being similar to this: Fatal Fury is to Real Bout as Street Fighter II is to Street Fighter Alpha
