I find mine to be fin nippers, I have not had one that does not show aggression, they also will be ok with there kind only, I had to keep them in a species only tank and I have 15 of them but they are stunning and beautiful!

I have 4 Chopstick snails in my low 20 tank and these guy's only have one or two offspring a year, they keep the substrate loose by borrowing all around beneath the surface of the substrate and I hardly ever see them. They don't bother the plants in my well planted tank and keep the substrate clean. I only have to clean my tanks once a year sometimes less. These guy's are a must for your aquarium. I use a sifted and washed, non-clumping cat litter as my substrate and at the moment am using a 10 gallon planted tank that is overstocked, with an under gravel filter with a Marineland Max 400 powerhead on one end and a double sponge filter for the shrimp at the other end and so far after 3 months it seems to be working great. For some reason the cat litter seems to grow plants better than anything I've used so far.

Your waterparameters seem to be completely inadequate for those fish, as their colloration is not strong at all. Healthy fish show really strong coloration. Furthermore, they not at all for nano tanks. Even if they stay small, they need a minimum of 100l or 1m lenght to be able to swim

These look like the perfect solution for a goldfish that can live in a planted 20gal.
