How about for ATF
@SanuMotorswithCharlie6 сағат бұрын
Great question! For the Peugeot 308, checking the Automatic Transmission Fluid (ATF) can be a bit tricky since many modern models have sealed systems. However, if your model allows for an ATF check: Locate the ATF Dipstick: Some older Peugeot 308 models have a dipstick for the transmission fluid, typically near the transmission housing under the bonnet. For Sealed Systems: Many newer models, including those with EAT6 or EAT8 gearboxes, are sealed and require a garage or professional to check the ATF level using diagnostic tools or by inspecting the fill plug underneath the car. When to Check: If you notice rough shifting, unusual noises, or transmission issues, it may be time for a fluid check or change. Let me know if you need more details or guidance! 🚗🔧 #Peugeot308 #ATFCheck #CarMaintenance

After running 300km it didn’t stop blinking what shall I do?
@SanuMotorswithCharlie19 сағат бұрын
If the idle stop warning keeps blinking even after 300km, here’s what you can try: Check the Battery: The idle stop system relies heavily on the battery. If the battery’s charge or condition is weak, the system may not work properly. Consider testing or replacing the battery if needed. Inspect the Sensors: Ensure that all sensors related to the idle stop system (e.g., brake pedal, clutch, and engine temperature sensors) are functioning correctly. A faulty sensor can prevent the system from activating. Diagnostics: Use an OBD-II scanner to check for any fault codes stored in the system. This can help identify the exact issue. Reset the System: Try resetting the idle stop system by disconnecting the battery for about 10-15 minutes. Reconnect it and see if the warning clears. If the problem persists, it might require a visit to a Suzuki service center to diagnose and fix the issue. Let me know if you need more tips! 🚗🔧 #SuzukiSwift #IdleStopSystem #CarTroubleshooting

Does it have a wiper module. Can you send me wiring diagram for clio 2006
@SanuMotorswithCharlie19 сағат бұрын
Yes, the Renault Clio does have a wiper control module that manages the operation of the wipers, including speed and intermittent settings. For the 2006 Renault Clio, I recommend checking the module’s connections if you’re troubleshooting a wiper issue. Unfortunately, I can’t directly provide wiring diagrams, but you can usually find them in a Renault service manual or through an online subscription to platforms like Autodata or Haynes Manuals. Alternatively, a Renault dealership or certified mechanic might be able to assist with the exact diagram you need. Hello how can I do for modèle ML350 W166? thanks for reply
@SanuMotorswithCharlie2 күн бұрын
For the Mercedes ML350 W166, resetting the AdBlue system typically requires a diagnostic tool. Here’s a general guide: Refill the AdBlue Tank: Ensure you’ve added the required amount of AdBlue (usually at least 10 liters). Use a Diagnostic Tool: A device like X-Entry (Mercedes-specific tool) or Autel Diagnostic Tool can access the AdBlue system. Navigate to the SCR (Selective Catalytic Reduction) system menu and perform a reset. Check for Fault Codes: Clear any remaining fault codes related to the AdBlue system. Drive Cycle: After resetting, take the car for a 15-30 minute drive to ensure the system recalibrates properly. If you don’t have access to a diagnostic tool, a Mercedes specialist or dealership can perform the reset for you. Let me know if you need more details, and good luck! 🚗🔧 #MercedesAdBlue #ML350 #CarMaintenance

Chemical cleaning can work for a partially blocked heater matrix, but if the heater is heavily clogged, as in this case, it might not be effective. That’s why I didn’t try it here-severe blockages often require a full replacement to restore proper function. If you suspect a heavy clog, it’s worth inspecting the heater matrix closely before attempting a chemical flush. @SanuMotorswithCharlie3 күн бұрын
You’re absolutely right-some basic OBD tools can clear certain codes but might struggle with airbag or other system-specific ones. For BMWs, you’ll need a tool capable of accessing SRS (airbag) systems. I’d recommend something like Autel MaxiCOM, Carly for BMW, or ISTA/D (BMW’s official tool) for a more comprehensive diagnostic and code-clearing capability. These tools should handle even the more stubborn codes. Let me know if you need further advice or recommendations! 🚗🔧 #BMWAirbagFix #OBDTool #SRSCodeClearing

Great video. Thank you Man! What should be a normal coolant temperature when thermostat is fully OK? I have up to 75 in winter and up to 82 in summer and no any fault codes. I suppose that thermostat needs to be replaced. How do you think? Kind Regards, Julius.
@SanuMotorswithCharlie3 күн бұрын
Thanks for your kind words-I’m glad you found the video helpful! For a fully functioning thermostat in a Nissan Qashqai, the normal coolant temperature should typically range between 85°C and 95°C once the engine is at operating temperature. If your coolant temperature is only reaching 75°C in winter and 82°C in summer, it’s running cooler than it should, which can indicate a thermostat that’s stuck open. While it’s not causing fault codes yet, a cooler engine can affect fuel efficiency and performance, especially in colder weather. I’d recommend replacing the thermostat to ensure optimal performance and avoid long-term issues. Let me know if you need more tips or advice! 🚗🔧 Kind regards, Charlie. #NissanQashqai #ThermostatReplacement #CarMaintenance

Hello. I have a Suzuki alto 2010 sz3. I have power steering issue. Can you tell me where the steering oil filler is , because I can't find it. Many thanks
@SanuMotorswithCharlie3 күн бұрын
Thanks for reaching out. The 2010 Suzuki Alto SZ3 actually doesn’t use traditional hydraulic power steering-it has an electric power steering system (EPS). That’s why you won’t find a steering oil filler, as the system doesn’t require power steering fluid. If you’re having power steering issues, it could be related to the EPS motor, wiring, or a sensor. I’d recommend having the system diagnosed with an OBD scanner to pinpoint the issue. Let me know if you need more advice, and good luck! 🚗🔧 #SuzukiAlto #PowerSteering #CarMaintenance

@SanuMotorswithCharlie5 күн бұрын
Thank you for the kind words-glad you found the video helpful! You’re absolutely right; the diesel and petrol versions of the Toyota Auris have some differences, especially with the 1.2 T petrol model. For the 1.2 T petrol Auris, the intercooler and turbocharger do add an extra layer of complexity when replacing the serpentine belt. Here are a few tips to help: Intercooler Access: You might need to partially remove or loosen the intercooler pipes to create enough clearance for the belt installation. Make sure to handle them carefully to avoid damage. Belt Routing: Take note of the serpentine belt routing before removal. A diagram or photo can save time and prevent confusion during reinstallation. Tensioner Tool: Use a proper serpentine belt tensioner tool to release the tension and remove the old belt safely. This step can be a bit tight due to the turbo setup. Inspect Components: While replacing the belt, inspect the tensioner, pulleys, and alternator for wear to avoid repeated work later. Unfortunately, I haven’t uploaded a video for the 1.2 T petrol Auris yet, but it’s definitely a great suggestion for the future. Let me know if you need more guidance or have additional questions. Good luck with the job! 🚗🔧 #ToyotaAuris #SerpentineBeltReplacement #DIYMechanic

To check the manual gearbox oil on a Toyota Auris: Locate the Fill Plug: It’s usually on the side of the gearbox. Check your owner’s manual for the exact location. Access the Plug: Use a wrench to remove the fill plug. Be sure the car is level and safely supported. Check the Level: The oil should be level with the bottom of the fill hole. If you can feel the oil with your finger or see it, the level is good. If not, it may need topping up. Top Up If Necessary: Use the recommended gearbox oil and add slowly until it just starts to spill out of the fill hole. @SanuMotorswithCharlie2 күн бұрын
Great job cleaning the AdBlue injector and resetting the engine light! The codes you’ve mentioned (P2085, P2084, and P2033) are typically related to the Exhaust Gas Temperature Sensor (EGTS) or the AdBlue system. Here’s what you can do next: Check the Exhaust Gas Temperature Sensors: P2085 and P2084 indicate issues with the EGTS. Inspect these sensors for dirt, damage, or wiring issues. Replace if necessary. Ensure Proper AdBlue System Functionality: The remaining "no start after 600km" warning might mean the system hasn’t fully reset. Some systems require a complete SCR (Selective Catalytic Reduction) reset, which may need a tool like X-Entry or a higher-end OBD tool. Perform a Drive Cycle: After cleaning and resetting, take the car for a 15-30 minute drive to allow the system to recalibrate. Ensure you’ve added the correct amount of AdBlue to the tank. Professional Reset: If the warning persists, you might need a professional reset with a Mercedes-specific diagnostic tool like X-Entry. This can also recalibrate the system and clear any residual warnings. Let me know if you need further guidance or details! 🚗🔧 #MercedesAdBlue #P2085 #CarRepairs

Thanks for the kind words-glad you enjoyed the video! When removing the engine mount, you can support the engine in one of two ways: Using a Jack: Place a jack under the gearbox or the oil pan (use a block of wood to distribute the weight and avoid damage). Raise it gently to take the weight of the engine while the mount is removed. Using an Engine Support Bar: If you have one, an engine support bar can be used to hang the engine from above, securing it at the lifting points on the engine block. Important Note: If you need to remove the sump during the process, it’s better to use a gearbox cradle (agg) for proper support and safety. Personally, I use a gearbox agg for jobs like this.
