Sublime graphics. Thoroughly and lucidly explained. It’s evident that many hours of attentive effort went into the production of this video! You’ve come a long way in your editing, and the voiceovers have also gotten much better. The mathematics, however, are firmly beyond me, and I’m really disgusted by avocados. I had to dislike the video for this reason, but I will continue to support you and I look forward to what the future of your channel brings. Thanks so much. 😅

Might you be interested in learning more about pingala and his contributions ? There are so many cool things that were discovered way before they were ‘discovered’ For example, the Pythagorean theorem is stated in the bodhayana sulba sutra authored in 800 BCE (Not CE 🫢) There is also Madhava’s sine series of sin(x)=x-x^3/3!+… There is also the now called Madhava-Leibniz identity which states that pi/4 = 1-1/3+1/5-1/7+…

That’s cool! We’re never taught this in the West. It’s always some European that gets credit
@algebraic_combinatorist29 күн бұрын
Very sadly, we also aren’t taught about this. The education system is 🤡. This is a specialised course I took at my university . And not many people are aware about this course either. The opposition which was in power for almost 60 years, has succeeded in suppressing Sanskrit and Indian sciences. Further, I mentioned that the Pythagorean theorem is merely stated. Proof is nowhere to be found. This is mostly because when the Mughals invaded India, they burned down all our vast libraries to destroy our system.

Idk what to tell you buddy, it starts at 1. If you are talking about how the numbers change right when it starts counting, that is because it was reverting back to the chord before the rotation and swap. It is still the same chord. There are 15 chords for a hexagon not 16

At 2:02 you said you need to put 3 knights on 7 numbered square to cover 25 squates... but it will be 21 ?
@JoeCoup12 ай бұрын
Good point! My wording was bad. I meant in order to cover all 25 squares you would need to use 3 knights on the 7 squares 7+7+7 is 21 and you would need a knight on the 5 square to reach the 25 quota

If you want to make it a lot faster, you can use a language other than Python. Python is convenient but runs far slower than almost anything else.

This is super cool. As a chess player, I don't like the idea that a knight dominates the square it's in.I'd love to see this done without that premise

I get you! That is a different problem which I also find interesting. However I don't think I will ever make a video on it because it is too similar to this one. Did you try playing multiple games against the other person's ai? With enough games played out you should see the random noise go away and have a clearer picture of which one plays better.
@JoeCoup12 ай бұрын
No I didn’t, it took a long time for 1 game (15 minutes) and was annoying to setup the board positions

This shouldn't have been ended at this step; green doesn't quite have half the board yet. I'd guess you're counting all pieces of the active colour rather than only those in the filled group, which could affect strategy
@JoeCoup13 ай бұрын
If I remember correctly it’s because it detected a win 12 moves ahead
@Starwort3 ай бұрын
@@JoeCoup1 fair enough; IMO for a proper AI it should still take the game to a guaranteed win (i.e. no combination of moves prevent a win; this is automatically the case when you control 1 square more than 50% of the board; so branches can end there rather than at the conclusion of the game), but this explanation makes sense (and the correct follow up, yellow, is trivially obvious)
