I had really been flying through the game and scoffed at the idea of a 'superboss' before even getting to the last chapter. I was NOT prepared for this motherfucker. This is the most powerful toad to ever exist. At least he's polite when he kicks my ass.

I also beat on my first go, but again, I came PREPARED for the worst, much like with Whacka, I had all hp plus badges i could find on, fp plus badges, power plus badges, all or nothing, jumpman, defense plus badges, damage dodge, lucky day, so that i could do 16 damage with a perfect spring jump each turn, and when he starts becoming impossible to hurt, you *HAVE* to superguard or die trying, I thankfully managed to do it, despite BARELY superguarding the whole game, although Mush's fast attacks kinda made it easier for me, and i knocked his guard off and finished him off. He HONESTLY might be harder than Whacka imo, solely because he can just IGNORE damage towards the end and dish out HELLISH damage if you don’t guard well.

I wanna remind everyone that this was Whacka PLAYING with us. Imagine if he was actually serious.

I beat this on my first try but I am more than willing to admit that I had such a fair-ish time with it cuz of luck. First of all, for some reason, Whacka never used any red bumps, thank GOD, secondly, thanks to lucky day and some sudden fog, he managed to miss a bit, and thirdly, when he had a bunch of bumps on him, he tossed pretty much ALL OF THEM at Goombella, even though she was already dead like a few hits after. I had literally every attack up badge i could find, so Mario was dishing out like 20 damage a turn, along with all my HP and FP up badges, so I was able to hold my own, and even then I had lifeshrooms so I would be fine as long as I just kept going, but if I did not literally come to this battle STRAPPED to the teeth, I would have absolutely gotten my first game over. Might be genuinely harder than the Shadow Queen, I just wasn't holding back ANYTHING, which is why I won.

i am positively interested to see what else the modern paper mario team can do if the sticker star 2010 proto and this remake are anything to go by, cause holy shit these devs go crazy with their ideas when given the creative freedom
