I stopped the video immediately at takeoff, the music is disturbing!!! no music like the 185 moster

Like everyone says here, first make sure your fuel delivery is clean and clear. A silent killer on that is if you're breather valve (in the fuel cap?) is not allowing air in the tank. If that all comes clear, I've seen this exact thing happen on two Mosters recently where it was a bad crankshaft seal letting air into the engine.
@Parahooners4 күн бұрын
Oh dear. Hope it's not the crankshaft seal. That's got calamity written all over it. Fuel cap is a great shout though. Should as simple as blowing through it in one direction to check as well shouldn't it?
@mmcowan4 күн бұрын
Yes, you should be able to blow from the outside of the cap through to the inside of the cap (just tested mine). Replacing the crankshaft seal on the Moster is a little annoying, but not horrible. You’re supposed to do them every 100hrs anyway. FWIW, it was the seal behind the starter that failed on both of the motors I saw.

If I have to run backwards at all, I do a forward launch. If I've engine problems, I just comb thru ALL of it. Hell, its only a handful of parts. Primer bulbs are evil... Spark or fuel, haha. Likely not compression, so...

No point in having lots of fuel if the engine isn't working 😂. That sounds electrical to me. Check your kill switches, then ohms test all your wires. The exact same thing happened to me before. Always know where the wind is coming from and always have an out. Really bad timing with that plane about to take off though. That would have made me a little worried to
@Parahooners7 күн бұрын
Cheers Harry well worth a look at the kill switch. I've not long transferred the engine over to a different frame. Quite possible I've caused an issue
@stephenchidley61807 күн бұрын
Okay, so jokes aside, I’m 12 minutes in, is this a fuel valve problem? Have you turned the breather pipe valve off? Are you dealing with a vacuum? I’ve been there.
@Parahooners7 күн бұрын
Steve could be right.… On the tank cap the other day, it released a hiss of air. Maybe, just maybe, it's not allowing air in, and as a result, the altitude worsens as the tank decompresses?
@stephenchidley61807 күн бұрын
Sounds like a classic CDI problem.

Sounds like fuel flow problem. Check for air bubbles in the lines which would show a leak, or some blockage preventing adequate flow.
@Parahooners7 күн бұрын
Could be right. Can only be fuel or spark right? May even be the carb seeing as it's not had a rebuild and it's near 130hrs old.

@@Parahooners Not sure what kind of motor you have but it could also be a loose intake manifold letting in too much air.

Lol. Best video ever.. drama queens. You know the glide in ParaGlider means your not going to fall out the sky , I’m surprised you didn’t phone your mum,,lol,, great video. More drama than game of thrones. Love it .. I bet the issue was air being drawn up in the fuel lines instead of FUEL

Amazing you can get clearance to fly over the Pyramids! Unbelievable. Tucker Gott has done some things, but this is way out there the best footage from a paramotor ever👍👍 I fly light GA and I haven't seen the charts for that area, but I would never have guessed that would be allowed? How did you even find out you could get permission to do this? I saw the Pyramids from ground level many years ago and we had to have an armed escort on the drive to Luxor and the valley of the kings. So to get to do this i am speechless, well done mate and it certainly took some cojones to actually go and do it!

But the guys there were brilliant… The police / army / security / Airport were as you can expect but with the right bit of paper work everything was fine. It was not without its trouble, but well worth it. hopefully this opens the way for more people to go enjoy this experience, right up to the point where I took off I believed that this may not happen but it’s amazing what the right people at the right time can do :-)

If you put Torque check( tamper proof indicator) on everything it does 2 things. 1 gives you a quick visual to see if anything is loose. It also helps keep nuts from coming loose. Its a bright colored thick paint almost. You make a line on the nut and bolt and if it breaks loose it breaks the paint. Same as the orange stuff they put on moster 185's just buy it and put it on everything

Speaking of Adele, can you take her back? She's living in Vegas and L.A.
