The bow is Amazing and gorgeous. 💯💞 This video has two beautiful camera angle that allow you to see the arrow swim through the air as it's released. That in itself is Amazing! 💯💞🤙

Congrats for your work. Beautiful handcraft. But I have a doubt - How Mongols made hundred thousands, perhaps millions of a such bows one thousand years ago with much more primitive tools... a very deep mystery...

Thank you for noticing my work. For a horn bow, it's about 900-1800$ depends on types, poundage and decoration. And will take 12-15 months to make.

yes, originally, the artifact bow might be 50-60 lbs, but I made my version heavier to practice.

Metal comb maybe easier to straightening the fibers but it'll also crawl out pretty much usable fibers, so I used finger and water stream to preserve as much as possible.

I make this bow only use kind of small branches of wood, so I think they have enough wood for this bow at their times.

Beautiful bow, no doubt, Question 1.- Power? Question 2.- Speed? Question 3.- Purpose of building bow at a semicircle? then giving bow a huge set (straightening) wasting a lot of power.

It's 80lbs at 31 inches. I'm not do the speed test yet, but this is not a fast bow. It's called opening process - make the bow bend the right position when first time strung.
