Santa was good to you this year. I enjoyed the review of your new lens; it looks like it performed well, and it will be a nice addition to help you create your masterpieces. One of my favorite shots was of the twisted stump and it was fun to see how the two different Christmas balls changed the feel of the tree limbs in some of the other photos. Spring is just around the corner.

Looking forward to that spring air and sunshine. We were able to get out the other day when the sun peaked out. Did a forest walk and spotted and Eagle, I got some nice shots of him with a telephoto lens. Today we are back in the house, but I passed away the hours doing more indoor photography. Thanks as always for watching the video and your very kind comment. You are good people. Tee

Now that's what I'm talking about! That's a cool gift from Santa. He must know you pretty well. I love the red bulb on the tree in the forest, did you leave that bulb for someone else to spot? I love seeing the details in the up close stuff, like the hearts inside the flower towards the end of this video...AMAZING Little Willow had a cool photo sesh, she looks so adorable as usual. You have so much big rains, California could use some of that rain well when the fires were raging. Now it would cause mud slides. Stay safe.
@EmbraceTheJourney4 күн бұрын
Tracie, I just watched your video and I back you 100%, except, perhaps about the Dodgers, but we can deal with that. I've had goofy comments like you had gotten, I simply delete them and shake my head. We did leave the bulbs on the trees incase somebody else might want to photograph them or appreciate them. We have left ornaments in the forest before, sometime seed balls for the birds. We might see the sun today for a brief few hours, then back to the rain again. Wish there was someway to ship all this rain down to you guys. This crazy divided country will seek to find conspiracy theories to blame the fires in California on all kinds of things. Instead of being more empathetic to the people who have been devastated in their total losses and those that have been killed, they take it to a political stage. So very sad. Stay safe my friend, Karen and I have been worrying about you. Tee

Pretty cool setup. I am so not techno and know very little about cameras. But I film all my videos on a Canon SL2 since 5 years now. It works good and it captures sound well. I just turned 58 and feel like I'm leaving money on the table with Social Security. I’m not sure when the best time to start claiming is, and I want to maximize my benefits. Retirement feels a lot harder than it used to be, especially with inflation eating away at savings.
@Churchillhump22689 күн бұрын
Same here! I’ve been reading about strategies, but it’s overwhelming. Delaying benefits could help increase my monthly income, but I also don’t want to dip too heavily into my savings before then. Balancing that decision with long-term goals is tricky.
@camela8445Mar9 күн бұрын
You’re absolutely right. My biggest regret is not consulting an expert sooner. After struggling to figure it out on my own, I ended up losing out on spousal benefits that could have increased our household income. I’d recommend speaking to a professional who can help you navigate this before making any decisions.
@Sanchyfab9 күн бұрын
I agree. My CFA, Joseph Nick Cahill, was a game-changer for me. He helped me optimize my Social Security strategy and adjust my investments to complement my benefits. He’s experienced in helping people grow their portfolios and maximize retirement income. He even offers free consultations if you’re unsure where to start.

A few days after Christmas, my son and the rest of his family all came down with Covid. My son said it was really bad. He is now testing negative, but his wife, who got it after Joe, is testing positive. Wish that covid would disappear. Thanks for you wonderful comment, Ana, you guys are really top of the crop. That clicking sound on the clip in the beginning, was my faithful hummingbird friend. It's true, I did flunk scissors and still not to good with them. The kids loved me reading the Merry Christmas Poop book, what a horrible story line. Unfortunately my son's family all now have Covid, Joseph told me it's pretty bad. Karen and I will most likely be dropping off some food and goodies for them and wave to them from our car. I had a friend who kept his Christmas tree up all year long, guess he just couldn't part with it. We are still in the fog (nothing new for me) and have only had a couple days where we could get out before the next rain system comes to us. Tee

Mollie, to many scary movies with dolls, Chucky, Annabelle, just to name a few. Karen had stuck one in my Sheriff's office, when I retired, it did not go with me. We have two grandchildren the other stockings were for my son and his wife and Karen. It was a great day, but unfortunately, both my son and grand daughter caught Covid a couple days later. My son said it was horrible and is still dealing with it. He told us today that now his wife is down with it. Wish that stuff would disappear. I have always found it a bit sad to take down all the decorations and tree, but Karen reminds me it starts a new beginning and it will all be back again in 2025. Tee
