Megastanis never mentioned brahman, khatriy etc..he mentioned seven classes on work type..this is whats app brahmanism gyan ..distorting history as usual and bussiness
@Booksummarydotcom2 күн бұрын
Hello bro @MrShukra2000 ji Thank you for sharing your thoughts Yes, Megasthenes' "Indica" (300 BCE) describes 7 social classes, but doesn't explicitly mention Brahman or Kshatriya castes. Instead, it lists: 1. Philosophers (equivalent to Brahmins) 2. Farmers (possibly Kshatriyas) 3. Herdsmen 4. Artisans 5. Soldiers 6. Overseers 7. Councilors (Strabo's Geographica, Book XV, Chapter 1, Sections 39-41; McCrindle's translation) However, ancient Indian texts like: - Rigveda (1500 BCE) - Manu Smriti (200 BCE) - Mahabharata (400 BCE) mention Brahman, Kshatriya, Vaishya, and Shudra varnas. Proof: - Rigveda: "Purusha Sukta" (10.90) describes Brahman, Kshatriya, Vaishya, and Shudra. - Manu Smriti: Chapter 1, Verse 31; Chapter 10, Verses 1-3. - Mahabharata: Anushasana Parva, Chapter 35.

2000 साल पहले संस्कृत थी ही नहीं, फिर पाणिनी की किताब संस्कृत में कैसे ???
@Booksummarydotcom5 күн бұрын
Namste Rajesh ji I appreciate your interest in Sanskrit. You've sparked an interesting discussion! Sanskrit's legacy spans 3000 years, with the Rigveda (1500 BCE) and Astadhyayi (400 BCE) being pivotal milestones. However, historical records show Sanskrit existed long before 2000 years ago. The Rigveda and other Vedic texts are testament to its ancient roots. I'd love to share more about this incredible language. Subscribe to my channel for engaging summaries, insightful analysis, and expert interviews. Let's explore Sanskrit's treasures together!"

7:46 You told - “White Elephants sacred mane jaate the” Seriously? Do you mean something as a ‘White Elephant ’ existed back then??
@Booksummarydotcom8 күн бұрын
Bro the term "white elephant" is mentioned in Megasthenes' book "Indica". In Book 2, Chapter 22 of "Indica", Megasthenes mentions: "...the Indians have many elephants, and of these some are white, others black. The white ones are considered sacred and are reserved for the gods." Source: - McCrindle, J. W. (Trans.). (1877). Ancient India as Described by Megasthenes and Arrian. Calcutta: Thacker, Spink & Co. - Strabo's Geography, Book XV, Chapter 1, Section 43 (quoting Megasthenes) Other ancient texts also mention white elephants in Indian context: - Kautilya's Arthashastra (around 300 BCE) - Mahabharata (Hindu epic, around 400 BCE - 400 CE) - Buddhist scriptures (e.g., Mahavamsa, around 500 CE) while Megasthenes' account is valuable, it's essential to consider the historical context and potential biases. Hope it helps thank you And would like to know your pov as well
