I have a 99 ford explorer thats been shifting hard when going from 2nd to 3rd gear. But the rest of the time its fine, think this sensor could be causing that too?
@FoothillsFirewood10 сағат бұрын
@@Paranormal_Pimp I’m no mechanic but in my experience if you have a tps starting to fail or getting out of throttle time it will kick pretty hard in all gears. If I were you I’d have the car scanned for codes at a local auto parts store even if you don’t see a check engine light. See what they say. If nothing comes back disconnect the battery for a few mins and reconnect it. If it’s still doing it then it may be something mechanical in the transmission. If it stops for a while it could be sensor/electrical.

@@1982field I have two oil straps. The oil straps fit over them just fine but what this picture doesn’t show is that this housing is recessed up in the bay. Once you get the strap on it there’s no way to turn it. There’s literally zero room channel locks won’t work for a lock to get a bite. @FoothillsFirewood3 күн бұрын
@@johnricks1630 excellent question John, I’m splitting “shingles” for the holzhausen roof. These splits you’re seeing will go on the “cap” of the holzhausen and act like a roof shedding water. Also It may look like I’m splitting just bark off, but in fact there is still burnable wood on those pieces. (It’s more bark than wood) and when it comes time to sell next seasons wood, I’ll burn those pieces in my personal wood stove so my clients don’t get stuck with a stick of wood that’s 80% bark. Yes you can make the key, problem is, the housing gets super hot, and eventually the tabs get brittle and break off. Once they break off nothing will work to remove the filter. Best practice is to replace the housing with an aluminum one purchased at O'Reilly
