This guy really turned out great. Hands are tedious for me too! But his hands and tentacles are amazing!

Yes I was also curious how you did the sea turtle armature I am attempting for my brothers birthday thank you
@themercurialmoxie3 ай бұрын
I start with a wooden disc base. Cover that in clay. Ball up foil to the desired shape for the reef. I always put a layer of blue painters tape over any and all foil, so that any sharp edges will not poke through the clay layer. I made the initial disc shape for the turtle shell also out of aluminum foil, covered it in blue painters tape. Make sure to leave a hole big enough to slide the dowel rod in at the front of your shell. The head is made with a 3 inch long piece of wooden dowel with aluminum foil over it, roughly shape the foil into a round/oval, then add painters tape. Make sure that you leave a couple of inches of dowel showing, as this will be placed into the hole at the front of your shell. If you have any more questions, I'll be happy to answer them.
