I would swap my grandmother for a full version of the Sliding Into Chaos album that came out about 10 years ago in digital only then disappeared off the face of the web. I mean, neither of my grandmothers are with us any more, but if they were, I'd be willing to negotiate.

My mate Steve was into this band, he had such a glint and cheeky smile as he found the album, what a masterpiece, bless him HAHA.

The vibe is Wout Van Aert has just won some very muddy cyclo cross thing. Meanwhile in the 80's I saw this band several times... they even came to our polytechnic I think.... Wolverhampton. Brilliant band, fantastic.

So proud of my grandad, he farmed a farm on a Cornish estate was the only farmer to say no fuck off not on my land and this was in the 50s 60s and 70s. Wildlife petrified. Pets killed. Trespassing and hedgerow damage. Dog shit in cow fields leading to abortions. And the most testing part was the arrogance and ignorance of the drunk horse riders thinking they own everything in sight

Strange (ain't it babe) that somehow one of Manson's followers already had at least some musical recognition. Did Manson never try to follow up those, or capitalise on those who had already to some degree made some musical mark within his ranks?

Ya know. It's crazy. A lot of those people in the Manson family were talented and smart. It's hard for me to believe they followed such a crumb ex-con as Manson. I guess a lot of it had to do with self esteem issues and not getting a lot of attention at home as well as the times this all happened in. It's a damn shame!

Psycho babble, Communes. Free love, Drugs, Psychedelia, Getting back to nature and turning their backs on consumerism. Get the right person who can monopolise on those things and you can get a flock of devotees to do anything. It isn`t the only time we`ve seen people being persuaded to take violent action because their leader has told them a pack of lies.

I actually was slightly mislead buying it. Spotted that it was on a Wax Trax label expecting it to be the Chicago Wax Trax, The label that put out industrial dance of Front 242, Ministry, etc. But instead i got that and not what i thought it would be

That you for posting this. I loved this tune, and of course, it isn't on iTunes. So otherwise it was difficult to hear it again.

Thank you for uploading, I would listen to this going to bed, growing up. My mum found the casette in a second hand shop, and she'd grown up watching the original TV broadcasts in the 70's. Lovely stories and voice.

The difference between this and the original version reminds me of what Andy Partridge brought to the tracks he did for Blur. Right down to the way he had the keyboards stand out on the pre chorus of Coping
