Hardly any stopping. Ia the future for stopping for an express coach service in Scotland going to be all at just airports P&R sites, motorway service stations and outside a railway station just off the motorway if any, but not at bus stations and normal roadside bus stops. Castleview Park and Ride is out of the way of Stirling city centrr, you need to get a P&R bus from the city centre anf even then that's not at the bus station. And if you wabt to travel to Edinburgh on Flixvus you need to get this very coach and xhange at Perth's Broxden Park and ride (another non town centre stop) onto another Flixbus there to Edinburgh. Citylink 909 the best for Stirling to Edinburgh, it's direct and it could stop right outside your house depending on where you live.

An absolutely fantastic video, well done Matthew! I'm booking the Flixbus 091 from Perth to Aberdeen to see friends and it's much faster and cheaper than by train or bus. With the train it's very expensive and even if it is quite fast, trying to walk from Aberdeen train station to the Union Square bus station to catch a bus is quite annoying. With the bus, while it is free it is slow as the bus must stop at every single town on the east coast, which makes it take 3, 4, maybe 5 hours. Also the bus usually is a few minutes late getting to Union Square because of Aberdeen traffic and lots of people in the centre getting on too. You've been so helpful posting this to KZbin, allowing me to see what's expected, what route it takes and how comfortable the buses are, as well as the fantastic scenery! Thanks so much. If you do take any more FlixBus journeys in the future I'll be sure to watch them all. Thanks a lot for such a detailed video!

I enjoyed FlixBus and I would definitely go on it again! I do see your point on where it gets bust at Aberdeen! They had to just drop us off on a random street! But the bus is definitely cheaper! But I do prefer the train.

Thank you. I have never seen any footage of the Montrose area (I know that about 1/8 of my family came from around the area of Montrose, way back in the early 1700's (if not earlier, I don't know if they settled elsewhere, for awhile in UK or USA before they came to northeastern PA with other settlers from Scotland.

What bus service number was that? I know it wasn't the X7 as they go into the bus stations it's a pity that it doesn't go past Arbroath Abbey where the declaration in 1320 was signed

Re your lane comment, The problem seem's to be that to/most drivers seem to get in one lane normally the middle and stay there even though the inside may be empty

I definitely prefer the train 🚂 between Alloa and Stirling. The scenery, whether it be by bus 🚌 or train 🚂 is always interesting though. I dislike the bus on this route because it’s so slow and unreliable. Enjoyed your video; well done!

The Tay Bridge is in Dundee; the 2 road bridges over the River Tay in Perth are known as “Smeaton’s Bridge”, or (Old Perth Bridge); the other bridge is Queens Bridge.
