Thank you Sr. TD. A little before hearing you, as I was practicingindful breathing in sukhasana, I could experience my entire body taking part in breathing. I try watching my breath in various postures. Each posture gives a different experience of breathing, but the most restful postures are sitting upright as you suggested or lying down supine in anatomical position. Sister, you remind me cardinal points in a gentle, straight, and simple way. Thank you.

I’ve had to learn to do quick walking meditation as the main source of my practice due to that I can’t sit or do slow walking or laying meditation due to the pain of my back So I’ve had to learn to slow down my mind while my body is moving rather quickly Because it’s only at a nice pace walk can my back kind of settle into a groove of taking off the pressure from the disks Shout out to the McGill method Everyone check out that if you struggle with back pain 🙏🏼

I am afraid of other people, what they could do, say, or think about me. I have this fear everyday. I hope my practice becomes stronger. I don’t want to suffer in such a way.

"With the body, not the mind" is already introducing an unnecessary dualism. Why separate them? Also, to start with feeling and body, as you suggest, requires the mental faculties that direct through those concepts. In other words: we get into spiritual trouble when we separate the mental from the physical. There's no point in opposing reason to (second) nature. I find that the greatest meditation is the kind that unites mind and body. In that unity is complete stillness and profound stability.

I believe I was led here to absorb these beautiful words. I'm taking a Vipassana course in a few weeks and my mind has been busy thinking and planning. I've been very aware of randomly hearing or reading the words "stop running" and "stop jumping around" a lot lately and realizing it's what I do and it's not helping my journey, it's hindering it. Many thanks and blessings to Plum Village and the entire team who have gifted us with these precious films and words to help us. I have tears of thankfulness for you.

I just turned 60 and fell in love - which I thought I was way past. It's lovely and I feel surprised and lucky. Though, now I am confronting the same questions of my youth. This talk reminds me what love really is - we are love - love is not on the outside and in another person. The learning and understanding keeps deepening. Thank you, Thay.
