I’m about to buy the plans but why did you use tires? Are they better than tracks ? Can you change the design to add tracks I will pay more for the plan
@loaderkit27629 ай бұрын
Hello. I couldn't find an e-shop where I could buy tracks and parts needed for construction. I wouldn't change the drawing without building it myself. I did it with wheels because it's easy and cheap. I would think about it if there was an e-shop where you could see prices and get pieces.

Mam pytanie, czy łańcuch i zębatki są jakoś zabezpieczone przed uszkodzeniem od dołu ?
@loaderkit276210 ай бұрын

where did you buy the hydraulic pump,engine,gears ? would also be interesting the total cost of building one? i did consider buying it from China but its very unknown quality of pumps,material,engine, and so on.
@loaderkit2762 Жыл бұрын
I made a project on etsy.com LOADERKIT . I mostly bought the components in Poland, but you can also find them on ebay, I made an excel table with places of purchase and prices. I dare not use Chinese components. However, the total price under 5000 euros depends on which components to use.
Dude props to you,that is a great machine you have build. Nothing beats self build🤜🏻

When do you think you will have a new video of this up ??? I could send a small amount of$$$ to help. I'm not asking for it free. Not sure how to do it tho. I don't have a lot to freely give , but I know it's costing you to do this.

To build a metal frame from old scrap is not worth it. too much work and later you discover that one place is not moving properly and another is not holding up. The strokes and dimensions of the cylinders must match the frame also . that's why i made laser cut metal. factory loaders are often built so that they cannot be repaired in the end . Mine is built from parts bought from regular stores, except for the frame so you can keep it alive for a very long time and it's not expensive. The new loader 3D model is ready, currently waiting for the price and delivery time of the steel frame to start making video. you can send some pictures of your loader, maybe i can give advice . I have subscribed. I have a worn out skid steer. It breaks every time I try to use it. Can't afford a new one , but have plenty of scrap steel lying around. Would love to build a new one with new pumps , hoses , engine. Mine is over 60 years old and everything breaks on it. From linkage to bearings. Not counting hoses.

Hey! How much does it cost you to build this skid stear?
@loaderkit27622 жыл бұрын
im making new model , approximate price 7000k eur or 7500 dollar but there is nothing sure , the price of steel has tripled.

I’d build a cage around the engine to not only protect it from backing into things, but the extra weight would act as a counter balance so it’s not as tipsy when lifting a bucket full of sand or such.

That was a nice and simple wood processor! You have implemented feeding of the wood which makes it less physical to use the machine for a whole day, but why no offloading of finished firewood? A feeding band or similar could perhaps also be driven by the hydraulic sylinder? Did you develop your machine further? It would be cool with a fresh video.
