I thought they closed down?

I played this game a few years ago and I couldn't find a US/EU based server and I had trouble making groups. I thought the game was awesome but I got stuck on the main quest when I had to beat a raid boss and I couldn't get a group together. This was a few years ago. Has anything changed?

Classic wow, it isn't perfect but it's damn close.

I know the video is about WoW, but the title got me to thinking that Lord of the Rings will be 18 years old this coming April, and I still pump money into that game. Never got tired of it. I played WoW from launch day up until level scaling, and it killed the game for me. It’s a shame because up until then, I loved it.

The subversion of all the male leaders being evil or cowards, or turning all the good male figures like Merlin, and such into evil, while making classically pure evil characters like Morgaine into anti heroes who have no accountability for their personal evils. Every "good" leader is female. It's garbage. With all the women running things, it's no wonder the world fell to shit. It just feels like me as a man am just doing the things all these women can't. It's like they just needed a little more testosterone and this island would have been fine.

Bless unleashed in its state of play right now is good if not great over all for a free to play game. the reason why it failed so hard mostly was bless online it was a bugy pay to win mess and people just could not forgive the IP for it mostly and to add insult to injury bless unleashed was just bless on the unreal engine 4 there was very little changes from bless to bless unleashed same game just fixed all the issues mostly and that made the pc gamers very unhappy so much so they did not even give bless unleashed a fair chance and left at the first sign of trouble with the cash shop witch was the pets and bags that are more or less pay to win in most peoples eyes even though it was not game breaking levels of pay to win. the bad blood was very strong because the way they did the consumer it would have been fine if they did a rework of the story/the combat/the endgame/ but instead of that we just got more or less the same game with bug fixes everyone on pc was very irritated and seeing how that is most of the market the game failed even though if bless unleashed launched like it is today it would have held up way better than what it has done for its self. I don't think it would be doing very well but at least never winter level of success with a chance to have an elder scrolls online level of success if they reworked there gear system with no upgrade system and reworked there storyline to make it more engaging without buggy cutscenes. is it worth playing today. yes the combat is good the story is workable the quests are fun the gameplay over all is not bad at all. its hard to compare it to anything because there are bots in zones to help with group quests and open world raids so the game feels alive even though its half not alive. I have never seen a game go so far out of its way to make its content fun without changing its content the short of that is it was the right call to make I think because the last time I played it I had a blast. I'm a game hopper if its a mmorpg so that is high Praise

It's so interesting cuz I remember them being proud that there weren't anything like a quest board. But like a lot of old school mmo designs, they realize that these things were introduced for a reason, and that some of it was left behind for a reason. No one remembers waiting a half hour to an hour just to get into a dungeon. Or waiting forever looking for a healer for your raid. There was and is a lot of stuff in old school mmo's that wasnt fun, and there was a lot of stuff that has been lost in the ether. For instance, you could actually solo play a lot of old school mmo's as that was my preferred play style and I achieved success from Everquest to Mortal Online 2. Hell I am playing Project Gorgon and one of the reasons I am leaving is cuz they refuse to change up their formula even though it chases off most players, me included. It's a fun formula but basks in the pride that you have to find out how to do every little thing yourself. Im a level 40 and don't even know how to get a mount in the beginner zone. Everything boils down to, "google it." Or, "just ask another player." As you can imagine that gets rather old quickly. I was looking at this game to shift over to but it seems it is also suffering from the, "old mmo blues." Seriously why does every new, "old school mmo experience' have to adopt all the bad stuff along with the good stuff?

Same shit happens to me after >900 hours in the game. When i realize there is pronounce option and they/them as an available option i insta alt+f4. I couldn't stand the fact that the game needs soo many things to improve as a game but it has they/them available as a pronounce

the devs are just too proud of them self's .... they made a game not for the players but for themselves, no matter how hard you point out the flaws and give them tips to how improved the game and attract more players they just look to the other side and completely ignored the player based ..... I have said many times to make the game available on steam that it will attract more people and fund the game even more, but they don't want to ..... they keep giving the same excuse for over 2 years that they are a small team and to give them time to improved but they are moving slower than a snail, the combat animation sucks , abilities that should have a sound effect like taunts etc. something so easy to code have non, the game relies to much in team up with others but the player based is so low that is nearly impossible .... quest don't give exp.....? why? , refused to make fantasy classes in a FANTASY mmo cause fuck it i guess .., no mounts, the amber system is an annoying resource that requires grind on top of the other painful grind, devs are focusing in pointless events that give 0 reward cause is all about FUN...... the game is going to die and no one is going to feel it

To remove the tool tip quicker, you can press tab and right click, but yes it is frustrating. The centering of the map really bothered me as well on Tutorial Island, but if I recall, it is better on the mainland. My biggest issues are the POWER of bleed from all animals (wolves, boars and bears) simply due to the stacking - up to 3 levels. 3rd person combat is jenky at best right now. The other big issues I have is the grouping and quests. When doing "kill quests" in a group, only the person that gets the final killing blow gets credit, even if you are in a group. I understand your frustrations, but I am still looking at this as an Early Access game that the developers have been fixing and addressing various issues over the past few months. There is still a lot to be resolved for population to be strong enough to maintain a good PvP challenge for sieges.

First of all, Starter Island is a mistake. Players should be starting on the mainland, and the Island should become an Event-Zone. Get your character off the Starter Island. You can do this from a fresh character in less than 8 hours if you use the correct weapons/dusts against the correct monsters. The game is Early Access and yes, does have a lot of missing content as far as character development, but you haven't even gotten to that point yet in your review because you haven't gotten to that point yet in-game. Do yourself a favor, re-create your video to include 99% less angry swearing but only after you're put 50 hours into the game and are on the mainland.

I played Bless Online many years ago and was looking for a game to play before Throne and Liberty comes out and just downloaded Bless Unleashed. Looks fun

There are quite a few quests in the city, you just cant all get them at lower lvls. The academy has a lot of lore and is where you can do emberstone upgrades. Class trainers also there to start your specific class quests at lvl 6. There is a monolith in the city also near the academy that the server works to together to unlock a portal to city and cheaper travel rates. Also vendors for foods, teas, recipes, dyes, potions, arrows, etc. Also two banks that you can use a shared box with your alts. At 20 the npcs provide crafting quests also. Ratman also in city to help with bag runs (but he can be quite expensive). Rangers guild there has nice long quest also. There are several quest lines that bring you back to the city, The Kings quest for example specifically provides different style of weapons depending on who you side with.

When next to a fire and you check your map it will show you on the map where you are. The game promotes a sense of self discovery and using your surroundings to find out where you are. Keep the feedback coming - its great to hear new player experience. It doesn’t hold your hand, it’s challenging, it’s painful, it takes effort, you will get frustrated.. all making your rewards and success that much sweeter as you explore everything it has to offer. The game has a certain charm to it that can't be found in most games today. I agree the new player experience can be a turn off so lets keep looking for ways to improve it.. as there is a great world out there to discover!

Thanks for the video. The armor weight system adds a sense of progression. You will eventually be able to wear more pieces as you get higher up. The weapon cooldown when switching is logical as you would want some penalty when switching between a bow and sword for example. You certainly have to network in the game. Build your friends list, join a guild, find people who play similar times you do. There is tons of content in the game and they have made improvements to the combat quite a but over the last year, Faster execution timers, cheaper alchemy costs, added vfx to the combat.

A lot of the issues you are calling out are explained in the Tutorial tab on the L screen (same screen as your quest log). Same with the hunting tab. For example, you gain ability to wear more armor as you level up - that is part of the PROGRESSION. You dont get a sense of progression if you start out the gate with the ability to do everything. Maybe dont skip skip skip skip so much and read and explore the world. Hang in there and just ask around if you have questions.

Good video my friend. This will help out new players. I agree with you on the armor weight- level restriction and armor for gear. At level 20 cannot wear a full set about 5 pieces shy. Should have less of a penalty if anything.

I downloaded this as a blast from the past, and it still has the charm from like 20 years ago. Controls are dodgy as fuck also. Its a shame they didnt continue to develope this. G'damn! this version of bless unleashed is not that bad is it the best mmorpg out there no is it good in some aspects yes in fact if it was not for bless having a bad name in the gaming space then this game would have 10,000 players normally on an having fun. this game is close to the bless we all thought we where getting when bless came out.
