Can you fit 70mm wheels on the Yamba 900? Will it cause wheel bite? Does the added width of the Hawgs cause wheel bite?

You need a 1/2 inch riser pad , and a tighter truck to prevent wheel bite. Wheel width should not be the problem, since it got sanded wheel wells.

@@romanticprops It already has a riser pad and the stock truck is fairly tight, I was thinking of adding the Oragatang stimulus 70mm 80a with 42mm contact patch. Would these be a good fit for cruising in the city and absorb the road vibrations?

The stock riser pad is 1/4 inches, as I remember. Which is for 60-65mm wheels, may not sufficient for 70mm wheels. So I'd recommend 1/2 riser pad instead of stock pad. You may try it out, as I always emphasis on "play safe". Orangatang Stimulus handled rough roads in Hong Kong very well. I believe they are great for cruising in the city. :)

Dude I see where you are going here but this is a new formula/tech has completely different grip/slip characteristics than traditional formulas. I don't think you are really putting the wheels through their paces properly. Spitfire have a loyal following especially after developing Formula 4 - no more flatspots! If they want to continue the F4 line they need to stay within their recognisable product. F4 tech was supposedly an improvement on George Powell's STF. Just like the Spitfire Soft Sliders are an "improvement" of the Dragon formula. A wider contact patch makes for a smoother more consistent side IMO and also allows access to rougher terrain.

I had no problem with Spitfire Soft-Sliders, except for the 58mm Radials. Do you think it's sensible to put it on shelf, even it rolls much slower than 56mm, just to "stay within their recognisable product" ?

年初我為咗挑戰身體機能退化同圓一個Y2K嘅夢而入坑，結果tutorial 都未完就跌斷手停咗個半月。本身唔怕跌嘅我係可以上返板繼續，但偏偏好似有種顧慮。 睇完條片有種共鳴；我真係對抗唔到物理定律同身體機能不如十八廿二嘅事實。 同時要多謝你提醒我...其實學習目標唔應該係追啲細路，而係令自己技術同心態有進步/身體機能退步得慢啲🙏

好沉重嘅回應，我都要沉澱下先覆。 能夠再上板真係好堅毅呢，我仆歪個鼻已經畀人嘈到拆天，想像唔到再嚴重啲嘅壓力。 半途出家是孤獨的，不過而家網絡發達又多咗好多助力，四圍都係教學片，最樽頸的地方反而自己身體同埋時間分配。 但既然斷手都無令你卻步，即係無嘢可以阻到你踩板嘅熱盛。勁呀。👍 我真係無諗過會收到咁真誠嘅回應，多謝晒你嘅分享。🙇🏻

我無你想像中咁叻，暫時只敢返上Longboard 代步；陰影仍在而且要時間消化。當日睇完你條片再望返轉頭，先發現自己雖然走得唔遠但條路其實都好難行😂 或者呢個係所有成人學運動嘅共通難關，而我地都應該俾啲掌聲自己👏🤣
