Growing up in the 70s, there was this one kid in elementary school everyone called "Geraldine". My naive self had no clue what they meant. Wasn't until much later that I figured it out. What amazes me is how did that kid know he was "that way" so young? I mean he was in elementary school.

I enjoyed watching Here Comes The Brides in 1968 to 1970. It will always be my favorite television show. I enjoyed his version of the “Seattle Song”. I hope one day the make a new “Here Comes The Bride” television. I am 65 now.

This video was horribly directed. They even missed the guitar solo. And it was completely lip synced. I do love the song.

Look how relatively happy and content the people were back then ...no phones, no social media , no internet , no multi-channel TV ..not every family even had a TV ..no immigration to speak of ....What a golden era ...today is like a living hell on earth in comparison

I will never forget being at the Color Cruise near Chattanooga, on the Tennessee River. I began to hear Mississippi Dew and it was John's unmistakable voice! As I was trying to decide where it was coming from, I heard a steam whistle and looked to see a steamboat approaching the landing with John out on the starboard wing bridge playing and singing.

Edgewater Park, Detroit MI. 1970 Bobby wore tan and brown stripe leather pants and a sueded fringe shirt. Girls were fake fainting to get backstage. So concert was cut short, but I'll never forget it.

Seriously, I love the drag. She’s crazy. I live in Harlem and I know ladies like her. The line about the brightest one in the class and Geraldine’s response, priceless.
