When the needle is inserted for egg collection, does this hurt at the time? Currently having iui with one of your clinics and lookong into ivf as a back up. Care have been amazing so far and definitely interested in using you again in the future if need be x

Dear clinic, I wonder if you have more detailed statistics about 3 day and 5 day thawed embrios. What are the chances they don't survive after thawing. In Spain in a public hospital they say embrios survive freezing in 50-75%. I find it just awful. I wonder why you have such great statistics in 2019 and Spanish public hospitals have those awful rates in 2024. 😢 Is it possible they still use super old methods of vitrification in 2024 or something. I have a document that says that, you sign it if you go through IVF in Spanish public hospitals.

Dear , I would like to talk and tell you about bad experience with care fertility clinic branch of Leeds . On 23rd of May l got to book an appointment with dr adam balan , after filling all of my personal information and finalize my appointment alongside paying the consultation fee . The next step for any patient is to answer some important application concerning your medical history and upload my AMH blood test and pelvic ultrasound as well . As the doctor must has those before the time of my consultation for an overview about the medical statement of the patient . Because my patient portal has a technical problem and the support team have neglected my email and when they get one of my email " inform me that it may be the problem with my phone number as it is not a uk number " May i ask a logical question ? If you can not accept a patient from outside uk why did allow me to book at your clinic and paying the consultation fee as well ? I do not know ! However i step over all of kind of this mess and the day before my consultation i did write another email informing them that i need to upload my lab results and ultrasound as well . On 8th of June (day of consultation ) i got no respond until 10 min exactly after my consultation time i got an email saying your appointment has been canceled and the doctor will send a message to you !! Did anyone ask me to do so ? Did anybody apologize for the rude and nasty way of dealing ? Unfortunately no . To be honest i was very surprised as long as i didn't fill any medical information or upload any of medical reports about What will the doctor write letter to me ! He did write literally to me ''that i have no hope to make an egg freezing due to my age and the only option to me was usage of donated suitable eggs and i am sure that won't be suitabie to you so good luck in your life '' . The first question got to my mind is there any professional doctor can assess the medical case for the patient without checking on medical examinations , without seeing the lab results , just based on my passport ? Of course not, because this is a hypothetical question and not logical at all . I decided to check with multiple doctors in uk to know if that medical misleading or that is the real diagnose of me . After physical examination and ordering pelvic ultrasound and AMH blood test that I can do the egg freezing with a quite good percentage of success and that is all based of facts ! For that reason decided to write a message to care fertility clinic attached with my email letter to Dr Adam Balan , and informing them that I will be waiting for your response and in case the doctor is busy or would like to book another appointment with the required fee I got no problem for the sake of explanation and correct for what I felt offended . Please also note that I have contacted them by phone when I did not receive any response to my emails. In the call, I tried to draw attention to the fact that I sent a reply to the doctor’s letter , and please send it to the doctor for review and reply. They told me that they would respond to me but decided to keep lying and being rude on purpose. I can understand that it is possible for the doctor to rush and make a mistake in diagnosing as happened with me, but acting cowardly and refusing to respond to my letter and setting an appointment with me to discuss what happened, this confirms the validity of describing it as ignorance and insolence, and not exaggeration Can you imagine that the patient took an important step such as freezing eggs and in dire need of support and encouragement from my doctor, but I got stress, anger and wrong information. I do not want to exaggerate the problem, but what happened to me will not end without an official apology from the doctor and the clinic for sure. Congratulations to these lovely parents. Just a point on egg and sperm donor conceived children.. people hardly ever talk about how the children will feel later in life. My understanding is to tell the child in very simple language how they were conceived before they are 3 years old but don’t make a fuss about it - so don’t keep bringing it up all the time and don’t make it too much about the science. Some people use books to tell the child their story but there is a view that this makes a child feel objectified and like they are being told how to feel. Keep it open and simple, and acknowledge the child’s fears and worries. The child’s feelings are the most important thing, not making the parents feel better. It is preferable if identity release donors are used so the child can make contact after they are 18 years old, if possible (genetic ancestry testing has also brought biological siblings and parents together so prepare for this happening even if using an anonymous donor). Most importantly be confident with your child, don’t show any doubt about how you feel and how they were created. Making them feel loved and special is so so important. They may have mixed feelings which can include anger (from thinking they were somehow rejected by their donor) or worry about their identity, for example. Don’t let your child feel sorry for themselves though either, this could lead to depressive behaviour.. and don’t tolerate bad behaviour. This is not to put any future parents off, just a part of the experience that we need to be aware of. AS A PARENT YOU NEED TO BE THEIR ROCK! All the best to future parents out there. You got this!! ❤
