Is it possible to specify the replacement by selecting an area from elsewhere in the image, rather than by a text prompt? The use case I have in mind is to extend a studio backdrop down to, and over, the flloor, when the physical backdrop itself is too short, and without altering the main subject, i.e. the person standing in the studio.

Hi, I am using Luminar New and just purchases some presets and they are all (mplumpack) files but they are not working on Luminar when I try to add them the file is not active so I can select it.

What about mplumpack files ?

when using a preset the photo allways loses of its sharpness.. why?

Great video but Luminar is the least user friendly program I've ever tried to use. The interface is horribly designed. This tool is a nice gimmick but when I wanted to trace the letters in an actual neon sign to give it a stronger neon glow, it was impossible to do! If you have any suggestions on how that can be accomplished, please post a video. Thanks so much!

12:18. This is by far the most annoying feature of LN that I have come across so far. I wish that the edits above those I want to edit remained visible, along with their effects, so that tweaks could be made in relation to their affects also. A simple button to turn on/off that said "Show all edit effects" would be most welcomed.

Great video! If I want to use the Luminar catalog for my initial culling after a photoshoot, If I quickly mark all of the "bad photos" as rejected, can I fully delete them from my computer in Neo or only remove them from the Neo catalog folder. Thanks

I've been pretty disappointed lately. Spend a lot of time cloning areas, and the finished product doesn't include all of them, even after "save." When you try to go over the areas again, the preview shows they've been cloned. 🤷🏻

Can you actually delete the original image from your hard drive in Neo if it just a bad, unusable image?

This is exactly why I haven't upgraded from Luminar 4 to Luminar Neo. No one answers your questions, the prices are different than what this video tells you, and the customer service after the sale is terrible, as I discovered after purchasing Luminar 4 and Luminar AI.

I tried the software, didn’t care for the results and it’s very slow. I asked a for a refund the same day I bought. Been a week almost and no refund and support stopped responding.

Curious, under each of the presets you have a slider to adjust the strength.I don't see that until after I apply the preset. Is that an option?

the worst update ever. Now the program is so slow that you can no longer work with it. It also crashes all the time, especially when cropping. Too bad I only bought it recently. This update has made it unusable.
