I've had (have) both. I had the Nokians for over 4 winter seasons. I just bought the Michelins for this winter. I live in frosty, icy Alberta. Last winter, I drove on icy roads (with the Nokians) I have never seen before....Highway 16 was closed. I had to take a detour around Kapaskiwin, and I was the only one on the road. Going up and down hills....with a train track at the bottom. Pure ice. My now older Nokians were incredible. I only sold off the Nokians because the studs are part of the belt, and the studs wore down to the rubber, and were not as good as new.....of course. The studs are not re-studdable. I decided to try the X-Ice North, my first year with them, and I am very impressed. I believe I can re-stud these, and if that's the case, I might get a much longer life out of these tires compared to the Nokians. I'm looking into it now. What makes a winter tire on ice, is the studs, it's not a matter of the rubber wearing down. It's always the studs wearing down.

Thanks for sharing your detailed experience! It’s great to hear how well the Nokians performed even after multiple seasons in Alberta’s extreme winter conditions. The fact that the Michelin X-Ice North 4 is impressing you in its first year is definitely a good sign! Being able to re-stud them for extended life is a huge advantage if that’s the case. Would love to hear your thoughts after a full winter with them-stay safe on those icy roads!

Both are great choices, but it depends on what you’re looking for! ASUS TUF Gaming F15 has better durability and cooling, making it great for long gaming sessions. Lenovo LOQ offers solid performance with good build quality and is often more budget-friendly. If you need better cooling and durability, go for the ASUS. If you want a balance of price and performance, the Lenovo LOQ is a solid option!

Great question! Since you experience a lot of rain in fall and winter, but rarely snow, the Michelin CrossClimate 2 would be a great option. It provides excellent wet performance, strong braking, and durability for year-round use. The Pirelli Cinturato All Season SF3 is also solid, but the CrossClimate 2 has better traction in varying conditions, including occasional heat in summer. Interesting contradiction I found: @1:43 The wet track 50-0mph stopping distance for the Michelin PS-AS4 is reported as 115.5 feet. @3:53 The wet track 50-0mph stopping distance for the same tire is 105.00 feet. The first record comes from Continental where their tire performs the best, at 2.2ft shorter than the Michelin PS-AS4's 115.5 feet. The second record comes from Michelin where _their_ tire performs the best, and the Conti tire is not a competitor in their test, and stops 10.5 feet shorter in their result in Conti's test. Hmm.

Acer ALG Gaming Laptop: - Intel Core i5 12th Gen offers good single-thread performance but slightly behind the Ryzen 7 in multitasking. - RTX 3050 (6GB) GPU is better for gaming, especially with modern titles. - 144Hz display is a big plus for smoother gameplay. Sorry to hear about your experience with the Philips 4700 grinder! A faulty grinder can definitely ruin the coffee experience. Thanks for sharing your feedback-it’s helpful for others considering their options. Hopefully, your next machine works perfectly for you!

Great question! It really depends on your needs. The Breville Barista Touch offers more control and customization, making it great for coffee enthusiasts who love experimenting with their brews. On the other hand, the Philips Series 4400 is more user-friendly and ideal for convenience with its automatic features. Let me know what you're looking for, and I can help you decide!

@@dianaolex4270 you'll have to research that. Phillips has a ceramic grinder and a 2-year warranty and the other company just has a one year warranty and a different kind of grindr. But Breville has a name.
