I’m not a fan of the mobile app, put it on my brand-new Samsung Galaxy Tab S9+ and it loads up fine, just the controls and how to move around was confusing. The textures were not matching like I have it on my pc so that part sucked. It needs tweaking for sure and a friendly how to use section. If I was to go after the way SL markets, I would get the impression that this was a dating platform to meet people. I as a married woman would have stayed away from it, but after meeting Meela & you and seeing the RP aspect of it, I’m so happy I gave it a chance. I did come from IMVU which was large on RP, however after they added the mobile app it became full of young people and it just wasn’t for me. So, I was happy to find an older community of people to RP with. I know that SL doesn’t believe they are a game and I agree with them because 85% of their base is dating, adult content or business sales. The 15% of us who play it like a game are not really focused on and if it wasn’t for people like you and the small amount of Role players out there, I wouldn’t even play on here. It’s the most expensive experience you will waist your money on, but its addicting and fun, if you enjoy it the way you want to. All I need is the ability to Family RP, Work, Garden, Travel, do lots of activities and hang out with my friends in an open world with the ability to move around, drive a car, go shopping, eat food and decorate. Basically, mix The Sims and Second life together and I will leave SL for good.

Well so far, mobile is trash of course, but it’s a loooong leap from where we’ve come from. Things that make SL unique aren’t really present in the mobile app ; I can’t truly put together outfits, only ones I’ve saved, can’t use too much of anything in your inventory, your avi doesn’t perform all actions (?) like I don’t run properly, or I walk like a noob.. etc etc SL is only falling behind because they haven’t joined VR or simplified PC use such as how easily you can maneuver and work IMVU for example. New users aren’t joining because the platform itself is A LOT and complex to get into if you have no idea about the game at all…

Events in SL are really cool, singing, ballet, fashion shows, and even burlesque. It looks like you all had a good time. Dakota is a beautiful name 🧐.

I was really overwhelmed this year for black Friday shopping, like you said there weren't any big sales, but the 50 percent off was okay at some places. I shopped at Merak and Dust Bunny the most and a few clothing stores. I wish I had gone to Canape they really do have some nice interactive items. My grandmother was a beautician years ago and she had the stove and the curlers like that. I would practice doing the twirl trick with the curlers. I found out the hard way that those babies will take your hair right on off your head if you have too hot lol. I was missing the front part of my hair till it grew back...lesson learned, lmso.
