I use addictive drums 2. You can get bogged down by it The loops are good. Some of the sounds are ok. But all the effects and buses get a bit complicated. It is good though and you can get lots of different kits or pieces. It’s worth it. Especially when it goes on sale often

And why can't you choose the two identical microphones? Why can't they be differentiated? I'm fighting with two microphones of the same brand, same model, to sound the same the two people we recorded, and you can't, there's no way, would there be any way? Thank you!

Hi, is there a way to program a keyboard command + trackball for smooth vertical and/or horizontal scrolling? My scroll ring is loose, resulting in coarse, unrefined, scrolling.

I work today as an arranger and music producer, as drums were an instrument that I played for many years, I can feel what sounds natural in a vst and what sounds artificial, I've used about 30 different drum vsts and I always thought they weren't enough to the result I expected to hear! Because in vsts this is how it happens, when you install any vst you will notice that it is good in some things and disappointing in others! The best result I got for the drum sound using vsts was using the room, overs and hit-hat from Addictive Drums and using the snare, kick and toms from GGD and the crashes use real sounds that I have recorded and add manually later. ..So the battery in the daw looks like this: Channel 1 in stereo from the Addictive Drums "ROOM" Chaneel 2 in stereo from the Addictive Drums "OVERS" Channel 3 in mono of the Addictive Drums "HIT-HAT" Channel 4 in mono from the GGD "SNARE" Channel 5 in mono from the GGD "KICK" Chanel 6 in stereo from the GGD "TOMS" Observations: In both the ambience and the overs I leave them without crahs, because I want to hear only kick drum, snare and toms from these channels, especially because the cymbals of any vst sound artificial, so later I add sounds from cymbals that I have recorded in wav manually, I usually use two, then I place one on each channel, opening their pan by 40% on each side. Another detail is that when I mix these two different vsts, I try to tune the snare drum, bass drum and toms of the two vsts with the same tuning and leave both kits without any of their original effects, I leave them both natural, so that I can add the effects and compression of my preference and according to the music I will produce to add glue to the mix.

how do you know which plug-ins you own ? I guess you have to go to UA site and get that list ? I got some bundle when I bought the Apollo and bought extra way back - I had done this before but somehow when logic updated it reset the plugin list now I have to manually hunt everything down . would be smart if they had a button that says "deactivate all non licensed plug ins"

Great video. I recently started mixing with a frequency analyzer and noticed the settings of my ssl eq weren’t being reflected on the analyzer accurately which made me question the eq curve. This Vocalign 5 sucks ass! Screwed up my Mac, even with Rosetta opening it.. this plug in cost me $149 with no return just to screw up my beautiful Mac and kill my creative flow for the day! Logic stock aligning leaves clicks & pops now this bs plug in won’t work for every Mac, especially mine. Major bullshit for creators trying to get a professional sound. GRRRR then it wouldn’t let me uninstall it, acted like a virus program that overloaded a 64GB Mac Studio then refused to go away! I was so excited to get it until it glitched me to pissy frustration-Capture button vanished after going through Hell to get it to appear..why sell something like this with a no money back guarantee? Cause it doesn’t work half the time. It’s challenging enough to create let alone have to they’re the dice hoping it works. As if I had $149 to burn. This is why I don’t buy plug ins

Question : When i choose Vocalign project 5 AU(ARA) in my logic pro 10.8.1 Rosetta It shows stereo not mono as it showed on your video and since I'm using a one voice track as my guide I 'm expecting to have the choice of mono as well .........by the way.. the .Vocalign project 5.AU gives me both stereo and dual/mono options . Any thoughts?

The kensington app has a posibility to add an option for the two lower buttons pressed simultaneously, the two upper simultaneously, etc. is there any way to do this in steermouse? Awesone video btw!

you can set-up an autohotkey script and force your pc to beep on the different frequencies with the keyboard shortcut pressed.

Hello, I tried make a aggregate device like you showed in the video but in your video on the audio devices menu when u select the devices one mics showing as 2 inputs and the other ones showing as 1 video. But when i try to do the same thing my microphones are showing just 1 input on both of them. Can you please help me with this. Im using bumblebee neat microphones.

I would not suggest the older faderport unless you are working with an older system(yes, I miss the buttons to swap MIX and EDIT screens). With the FP2, using neyrinck's V-COntrol Pro makes a huge improvement. The single thing that makes it worthwhile is the ability to control any plugin parameter by hitting the LINK button on the FP2, and then hover the mouse cursor over any plugin control. Then twist the knob. SSL offers this on the UF1, but its $699.
