I think this leaning more towards dragon age origins but will need to see some more gameplay as we get closer to release

Yeah I was pretty surprised to see the switch up. I’ll still give it a shot but they could have just improved on their current system.

This game is actually decent. I played through it a few times. Unlocked all the armors and upgraded all the abilities. Its fairly fun. And there is an expansion coming out this august which not only adds new stuff but improves pre existing features and combat. I didnt care much for the story at all but i like the combat and exploration. The essence stones are very diverse and provide many different fun builds. Combat is fairly readable, but there are some instances where targeting can be frustrating. I wish all the armors would level up with you and not be area/level locked.

Pretty much! I enjoyed it for what it is. Would revisit if they had a wave based mode, would be cool.

@@NextGameUp_ Also if you want to please consider getting the SoLA and Haus DLCs because they not only lengthen the game but in my opinion make the game much harder and much better if you play them both and manage to finish the entire game. Great video by the way NextGameUp_. Well done.

Im 3 hours into it and im feeling like the combat is incredible but theres very little to fight. And its super frustrating. Am i missing something?

You’re actually right on point, you’ll often go through areas without any enemies. Give it some more time and you’ll eventually unlock more combat encounters than can occur in the open world!

It's funny you say that cause I paid full-price for it when it first came out on PS5, played it for 10 mins and set it down lol. I made this video in an effort to actually beat the game and get my money's worth.
