I’ll give it the benefit of the doubt on some of the jamming It is an open bolt machine gun forced to be a closed bolt pistol but the terrible magazines and the weak charging handle has no excuses great review keep up the good work👍
@WTF-Viper7 сағат бұрын
Hmm this is weird to me. Is it only factory full auto/semi Tec 9s that have open bolt? Because ifrc the open bolt was used to prevent this issue, At least minimize it, so why is this tec 9 closed bolt?

Have Don build a top for it. Bet it would be better than the original.

Las tec 9 fueron diseñadas para funcionar a cerrojo abierto , pero debido a prohibiciones y leyes tuvieron que modificarlas a cerrojo cerrado y arruinaron la fiabilidad del arma

Tec 9s are notorious for magazine issues. All kinds of them. Even stuff you wouldn't think is magazine related. My friend's father had one in the '80s. One magazine function flawlessly. The other one was garbage never worked once. Unfortunately it's been so long I can't remember if it was the factory mags that were garbage or if it was the aftermarket ones. Good luck. I hope you get it running.
@SwaydeKnutson18 сағат бұрын
Most likely the aftermarket ones. That’s how it is with most trashy, polymer/plastic based firearms. Tend to have shitty aftermarket mags, especially any extended or above stock mags. You can turn a Glock which is mostly reliable depending on how the owner treats it, into a bolt-action that malfunctions every other round if you slap a cheap ProMag or ETS magazine in it. (Speaking from experience and as a fan of Glock)
@beefestrogen52766 сағат бұрын
@SwaydeKnutson Anything over 21 rounds just sticks out too much anyway on a glock.

As a gunsmith and former owner of an Intratec 9mm, the huge bolt assembly can be smoothed out and polished. Then use an entire quart of 10w30 oil. And finally, the most important thing, is you need to ONLY use Winchester 124 grain NATO white box or any other 124 grain +P FMJ. These magazines are hit or (mostly) miss. But if you want to invest the money, buy as many mags as possible and find one that works. Your gunsmith can bend, grind, heat treat and polish the feed ramps on the magazine. But you'd spend more money on Gunsmith time than you would just buying a bunch of magazines.
