Regarding "my idea"....if you keep measuring at the oscillator level rather than the signal after the low-pass filter, you will end up misleading the viewers....again, you don't know what this thing is spitting out because you haven't measured it correctly. As I wrote before, "An electromagnetic square wave is not physically possible." Whatever this thing outputs are sinusoidal waves. Cheers!
