@@xavibta78 hi, Zhang Xue was not the creator of the company, Kove existed long before he bought shares, he just became CEO and became famous after his Dakar success, he still owns 50% of Kove but he's not a good CEO, he is now focusing on his own thing called ZXCJ motorcycles, still following his dream, building the cheapest motorcycle in the world with the best quality, the thing is Kove has other share holders and they have a more goal oriented vision, he was too focused on Dakar.

@@eliasstergiou3051 I guess it all depends on preference...I tested the Tuareg as well, but the moment I sat on the 800x Pro I felt at home...and if you compare the bikes stock, the Kove is hands down the winner, better suspension, better torque and HP, around 50mm higher off the ground, it's just rider modes that's extra on the Aprilia, I personally hate too many modes and buttons for everything...the Kove have just enough added, TC for the road, and ABS... The rest is useless in my opinion...or for what I use it...I don't need cruise control, I want to be able to control my own speed, if you really want so many rider modes and heated seats and switchable TC with ride by wire...buy the Kove 800x touring version...it's got it all, at only 195kg. The Tuareg is a 660 at 205kg... My bike is exactly 184kg fully fueled with all the extras I have! Test it and you'll fall in love!

@@maxmustang2 hi Max! Yes it's definitely lighter! Much taller as well! If you're going to to ride 70% off road, it's the perfect motorcycle...it's super powerful, light enough to behave like a dirt bike and torque for days. If you want to do more 50/50 riding, I would recommend the Pro, it's much better set on road, better brakes of course, dual callipers and you won't feel unstable over 100km/h, the rally is too light and high in the front for road riding...even with a good stabilizer...the wind pushes it around a lot...the pro is perfect...even at 160-180km/h you won't feel unstable, and honestly...there is no place the rally can go where I cannot...if you want to do serious enduro..yes, but also not what a 800cc bike is for.

@@maxmustang2 for me the pro is perfect...it's doing everything the rally is doing off road, but on road, not one adv can keep up 👌🏻 Yes it's a sticker kit, will be a little difficult to find online or in Switzerland, maybe someone can make one for you!

@@AlRider hi, you can check on my channel, I posted I video of the exhaust, it's not hoarse, it's very deep as just a parallel twin can be, I think it's sounds superb! Everyone else also says it sounds amazing!👌🏻 You cannot actually compare it to reality...gopro sound is never 100%

Anyone living in the in the US I'd hold of on buying one of these Chinese bikes with a looming embargo potentially about to happen. You could be boned if it happens and all the dealers stop selling/servicing them and cant get parts.

Well, even if that happens, you can still service your Kove at any KTM dealer, as it has the exact same oil filters and air filter.

@@av7447 no, the rally has the same exhaust as the standard 800 and Pro, this is an aftermarket exhaust from Kove, no mini cat in the pipe or end cat in the the muffler!

Thank you for the review. I live in a country with a warm climate, Cyprus. Have you noticed an issue with engine heat management? Is there a lot of heat on the legs or ankles?

The bike is hot, but it rarely goes over 90, the fan kicks in and it settles quickly, here it's also very hot in summer...range from 35-40 degrees Celsius, it can be hot if you're in shorts, especially on your shin (just when the fan is on and you're not moving) but mostly...no issues!

Hi Nelis. Just a question about the engine of the Kove 800. Apparently it's the same motor (LC8) used in the KTM 790 bikes. Can you confirm that? I'm sure by now you're aware of the KTM cam issue on the 790/890 engine. Should prospective buyers of Kove motorcycles be worried?

CFMOTO use ktm engine, or actually produce ktm engines...this engine is built in house by Kove, I have 13 000km, and multiple friends with even double the amount of millage without any issues, especially not cam issues, yes normal clutch wear and that, but the engine itself...problem free!

@@RichardS-qh8mi definitely one of our favourite trails! And yes, I have to agree...sounds amazing! Well, I usually take it for a valet after, I'm sure they removed about 5kg of dirt 🤣🙈 and then I take it for a maintenance at the shop to check the fork seals, oil and adjust my chain and brake calipers... Luckily here it's rather cheap to do maintenance like that...and totally worth it, puts my mind at ease knowing it's been inspected by ab official Kove dealer!

@@foRsxs I have an aftermarket seat, super comfortable for long rides, and the BMW is an elephant compared to the Kove...the weight alone is a huge difference...100hp...no problem 👌🏻

Hi mate, hope all is well, a question. on front forks, do you have adjusters for compression and rebound on both sides? or compression adjuster one side and rebound adjuster the other side? thanks, illbe doing another video today and will link to you again, happy trails

@@barebonesmc hi mate, the left shock is rebound and the right shock is compression! The rear shock has got a lot of adjustments, hydraulic hand knob for preload, and then rebound and compression top and bottom, you can also harden the coil and adjust the linkage harder. I'll soon be making a new exhaust mod video, the bike sounds super amazing with the new titanium exhaust and ecu from Kove!

@@barebonesmc the Kove suspension is much better than the Tuareg...it's not the same, I tested the tuareg, it's not the same system, even if it's KYB, it's a cheaper version!

@@Nelisjvr seems like it is different in different markets, for Europe there is a split system on the standard model, but the system on the pro has compression and rebound damping on both fork legs, someone was saying that the cartridges can be replaced with a 2 way cartridge if needed anyway, so thats something, happy trails mate, Ride Free

@@barebonesmc I actually went out, and I confirmed that they are both adjustable on each cartridge, in the book they refer to the standard model, which is split, but on the Pro, they are on each shock fully adjustable for both rebound and compression!
