Rengoku got donated 😭🤚

There is no way that Giyu wouldn't pull Sanemi aside at some point in the party to ask him about the 8 years that are seemingly missing from his memory and here is how I think Kanae's life would change the canon. Buckle up boys and girls 'cause it's gonna be LONG. (Also,possible spoilers in the end) After the report, Sanemi and Kanae would bring marked Giyu's (the original Giyu,the one who went back in time) dead body to the butterfly mansion to study and learn about the mark from his blood and although they would make great progress and learn some stuff about the mark,they could only do so much with only one marked person's blood. It wouldn't help that marked Giyu's body suddenly disappeared like *poof* gone,as suddenly as it appeared,so they would put the research for the mark on a pause for now. Now, before I go to canon,here how I think each of the characters would be: Sanemi would be a little more collected but he would still be the angry dude we all know and love,just not as quick to snap. Shinobu would keep her Tsundere personality and although she would be more mature as she grows older,that part of hers would still be there. Giyu would be the same, since he wasn't even there in the interaction with the marked Giyu from the future. Things play the same until the Mount Natagoumo arc, where I believe The Master would send Giyu with Kanae and Kanao as her tsuguko (since Kanae is alive and there to teach her more thoroughly about flower breathing) instead of Giyu with Shinobu. Things go the same,Kanae finds and gives the antidote to Zenitsu and she kills the spider sister, Giyu kills the spider father and then Rui, and Kanae would still try to attack Nezuko,with Giyu blocking her from doing so. Tanjiro makes a run for it with Nezuko in his arms,with Kanao knocking him out before chasing after Nezuko. Giyu stalls kanae and after she tries to go after the siblings he somehow catches her and holds her down, maybe not in a headlock like he did with Shinobu but he still somehow manages to stop her. After he explains the situation to her,he lets her go but then the crow comes with the message to bring the siblings to the headquarters. Tanjiro's trial Since Kanae knows the story,she would explain it to the other Hashira and also be there to stop them in case anyone tried to do anything funny before the master arrived. Shinobu,even though she now knows the story would absolutely be against keeping them alive and Sanemi would pull the same stunt, appearing with the box in hand and stabbing Nezuko, although I don't think Kanae would let him stab her 3 times like he did in canon. Maybe once or twice at most,more than that and Kanae would intervene. Ther rest plays the same. Rehabilitation training arc Not much to change in this arc besides that heart to heart conversation Tanjiro had in the rooftop of the butterfly mansion with Shinobu in canon,this time it would be Kanae instead talking about her opinions on demons and even thank Tanjiro for making her dream a reality. They may even have a lengthy conversation not only about demons but also about their siblings, since these two have actually a lot in common. After the final checkup, Tanjiro would later ask Kanae about the Hinokami Kagura which of course she wouldn't know and direct him to Rengoku. Mugen Train, Entertainment District and Swordsmith Village arc would play the same, although it would be a little trickier since all the moons moved one rank up (more on that later) Hashira training arc The sisters would team up with Tamayo and Yushiro to create the four drugs for Muzan and the cure for Nezuko but after that they would request Tamayo's help with something else too: the cure for the mark,since there are also more people with the mark,in which of course Tamayo would agree to help them. (Needless to say,but Tamayo and Kanae would absolutely have to always keep Yushiro and Shinobu away from each other because these two alone would absolutely try to murder each other)With Tamayo's help (and a blood sample from Tanjiro, Muichiro and Mitsuri) they finished the cure and for the sake of the story let's say that the sisters managed to squeeze few sparring sessions with the other Hashira,to give the sisters a fair chance to awaken the mark too. However, no one would take the cure just yet, because 1) they are not 100% if it will even work and 2) they fear possible complications like maybe not being able to use the mark after taking the cure which would be bad because they cannot lose a possible power boost that they would ABSOLUTELY need in the upcoming battle. Anyways, Ubuyashiki goes boom and Muzan like the good host he is invites everyone in the Infinity Castle. Now,here I believe the ranks would look like after Douma's death: Upper one Kokushibo Upper two Akaza Upper three Hantegu Upper Four Gyokko Upper five Daki/Guytaro Upper six Nakime or maybe just an entirely new demon. Now, with Douma dead but Kanae alive,I believe Kanae with Kanao would go help Gyomei,Sanemi,Genya and Muichiro fight Kokushibo and Shinobu with Inosuke would go help Giyu and Tanjiro with Akaza and I believe they would split up like this is because logic would say to split the two Hashiras,so the kids have someone to watch their back. Also,there is no way Inosuke wouldn't want to help Tanjiro to the point that he wouldn't hesitate to go even alone (and yes,both sisters actually manifest a mark since they actually trained).The rest of the fights are the same, Mitsuri and Obanai are fighting the now Upper four Nakime and Zenitsu is Fighting the Upper six Kaigaku. Now, the events would play the same, they defeat the Upper moons,Muzan eventually kills Nakime,they are all pushed to the surface,they kill Muzan with the sun, Tanjiro becomes a demon briefly but is brought back with the cure Kanao had on her. Also, since she actually trained under Kanae this time, Kanao's flower breathing would be more refined,more precise and most importantly,more powerful. And yes,Kanao would still use the vermilion eyes but only once to inject the cure to Tanjiro and she would still go blind in one eye. Now, it's more of the writer's choice but you can say that the casualties were almost the same as canon (Gyomei,Obanai,Mitsuri,Genya,Muichiro) or you can go the good ending and say that everyone survived. I'll go with the good ending and say that everyone survived, except Gyomei though, because I believe his death wasn't only from his wounds, but also because of the mark (remember,the mark kills you at 25 and Gyomei was already 27. Also, don't forget that none had gotten the cure yet). Everyone is transported to the butterfly mansion to recover from their injuries and for the marked ones to take the cure. Sanemi and Kanae but also Giyu with Shinobu (and Obanai with Mitsuri if we are talking about the good ending) eventually got married and you can fill the blanks as to how they covered the rest of these four years yourself,which brings us back to the present. I would love to see this in a form of text story as a oneshot/sequel to this if you can and thank you for taking the time to read it. It took me like an hour to write it 😅
