I went too the last two shows August 9th and 10th and I know the weekend before was Jerrys birthday and the 9th was his death anniversary; they did have alot of jerry graphics during the shows I went too, and some graphics were similiar but there were also many different graphics. You nailed the whole takeoff from SF into space, and then landing back into SF - that was definitly what was happening. It is refreshing to hear a positive review and all the nice words you said for Bobby. He is doing a special and he does headline, except when it's Burt or Tom who ask as a favor and pay really well. Idk if you're familiar with Bert but to say he is relatable and an every day man is so off the mark. He once was likeable but he has morphed into one of the most insufferable, narcissistic, unfunny and unlikeable comics. His diva attitude, thinking he's better than everyone and if someone doesn't know who he is he flips out and gets them fired. He's a bonafide alcoholic, constantly interrupts everyone just so he can talk about himself, not to mention what a terrible father he is. If that wasn't enough all you need to hear is that fake, cringe, anger inducing laugh and squeaky talking he does every chance he can to go viral. Idk how anyone can stand to ve around him and his downfall is going to be much deserved like Brendan Schaubs. I'm not proud of this comment but it has to be said cause the guy represents everything bad that money and fame can bring.

Thanks for sharing that I honestly don't know enough about him to comment back from what I saw he definitely doesn't look like he's in a downfall but still in his rise. Fyi, the opening graphics with the couple in black and white on the beach at the beginning of Boys of Summer… I’d swear that was from their original MTV video. So that’s why it didn’t come across as very exciting or high-tech but they succeeded in infusing that memory/nostalgia.

When I took my mother to Vegas for her 50th birthday a couple years ago we ended up seeing all kinds of shows. Out of all the concert/singing related shows, Donny Osmond’s was hands down our favorite. I knew she’d enjoy his show since she’s loved him all her life, but as a millennial that obviously isn’t his core audience, I was absolutely floored by him. I’d personally give him a at least a 9.5/10. I’d see him again if I were to go back to Vegas.

Saw them in 1976 on the Hotel California tour (paid $8.50). Back then they were laid back as well when performing, all about harmonies and perfect musicianship. Even them being in their late 20s back then. Adding Joe Walsh juiced it up a bit. Never forget the great writing (Desperado) and, the storytelling lyrics were always spot on.

I was there. It was painful. Too long. And IMO fuck them for wanting to keep it secret. For an avg of about $200 a ticket I’m going yap about it. First I thought there would be better panel judges or guest appearances. Pauley Shore standing there, brain dead, holding a ring girl sign was not it. William Montgomery and Kam Paterson sucked. All the bucket pulls were horrible. The last one, the angry lesbian, might have been the worst attempt of comedy i’ve ever seen AND she said she was doing standup for 8 years!!! IMO her performance did lead to the best one liner of the night from Tony, which I’m sure will be one of the short clips that will go viral. Also, did you get a “goon” vibe from all the security folks at the venue too? Overall imo the entire experience and show sucked.
@JoeInVegasReviewsКүн бұрын
Hey I totally get everything you're saying. Perhaps I was being too nice in my review LOL I agree with you on the judges I'm happy Dr Phil was there. He's so good I like Harlan Williams but I was expecting someone bigger for a live show. I just figured he became such a popular judge for the fans throughout the year that that was a special treat. But they could have added a couple more judges get one really big name for the live show. Yeah I think every single bucket pick was terrible period so it really brought the energy down. I'm friendly with Pauly Shore and he's a really nice sweet guy and I think that bit went really South for him start a great but when he pulled out the napkins they really tore him apart. He's too sensitive to take that kind of heat. So he just got uncomfortable and a little sad and really just bolted off the stage. And I think that was supposed to be the big celebrity surprise. The pricing was pretty high I don't think I talked about it in the review. I was just looking at Bert Kreischer and Bobby Lee tickets for tonight and they are a third of the price as the kill Tony tickets. And it didn't say anything about locking up your phone. I get why Comics make you lock up the phones but they really have to understand where we are as a society and that is a lot of anxiety for your crowd to not be able to look at their phones for 3 hours. You better deliver and unfortunately it didn't. Thanks for commenting thanks for listening I appreciate it

Also, during~ “Back In The Fast Lane” - When the car was going through the city and slowed down, it felt like the car was going to crash.. 💥 I could feel that sensation! It was wild!! I really submerged myself into it .. I got some videos and pics too.. although I don’t have the best camera on this older iPhone model (11) .. I am upgrading and wish I had upgraded before this show. Nobody had a problem with me recording and taking pics during it? I probably should have put my camera down more but everyone around me was very kool!! You are very lucky to live in Vegas!! I can’t wait to go back to another show! Great review and yes, so true about Eagles. You described them perfectly. We had just went to another concert before Eagles here at the fair and it was perfect weather and sold out and we had great floor seats - to FOREIGNER! Now everyone was on their feet to that concert during almost all of it except some bc again, many older people, but it was a fantastic show as well. That’s what got my friend & I all revved up to go see The Eagles!! I was mesmerized to say the least. I had to put camera down to enjoy some of it. I loved “I can’t tell you why”, and One of These Nights, and yeah, Hotel California was wild what I saw.. tried to get to the bathroom real quick but missed the start which really bummed me out, but they had a video of some it.. (my friends) ~ I was hoping that was going to be like an encore song.. but nope. The water one was kool AF during “The Boys Of Summer”~ we felt a breeze and mist of water on us during that .. I thought I was imagining it but gal next to me said she felt it too… so they will more than likely add more effects as they go~ All in all, it was fantastic! Made me think of my older brother who loved the Eagles who’s no longer with us anymore ~ I felt I kinda went for him too. And Deacon Fry was pretty awesome as well! Loved Don Henley, Joe Walsh, Vince Gill and all of them!! ❤😎🤩❤😍❤😊

Loved it! I went with my bestie, her daughter, and their seats were a couple few rows ahead of me. I tried to sit with them but it was sold out and had to go back to mine which I realized I liked my seat better!! I was on the floor level to the right of stage back far enough to have a perfect view of everything! I had goosies on everything!! I was in the bathroom and got back during the middle of Hotel California, so yeah I missed some. I love Tequila Sunrise!! I finally know now what a Tequila Sunrise is!! I loved Back In The Fast Lane! Many of us were standing towards the end .. so not sure what show you were at? I was there the 21st… so maybe you’re talking about the 20th? Amazing SHOW!!! I was totally blown away! I had to pay $590 for my ticket but so worth it! I probably would go again.. if I could find someone to go with again! Hahaha 😅

In Oct of '19 I saw them in Vegas for the Hotel California tour and I liked the opening of their show better. They had an old man come across the stage setting the theme of Hotel California. They played all the songs from that album (10 songs), took a break and came back and sang 18 more songs! Best ever!

Anyone who saw the Eagles in the 70's would not bother to sit through these concerts. Over priced and the graphics take your mind off of the fact that Don Henley's voice is shot. The original Eagles are a band that cannot be touched by any bands nowadays, but they really should hang up their instruments now.
