Love that music. Brings me back to my childhood. After playing Dragon Warrior (Dragon Quest) 1, 2, 3 & 4 and Final Fantasy I, II (IV) & III (VI)... I remember tackling this RPG back in 1995 or 1996, if memory serves me right. I know it came out in 1993, but I was busy with the RPGs I mentioned above. The 7th Saga, to me, felt like the first serious and dark themed RPG I've ever played. No more cutesy sprites of the Final Fantasy or Dragon Warrior (Quest) genre. You had full grown adult sprite work. And the monster design, incredible. I still remember the first boss of this game, Romus. Terrifying and yet well done design. This game and it's concept are brilliant. It deserves a full-fledged REMAKE. A souls-like combat would fit this game well.

I appreciate having a version of this without the wind; it's perfect for a snowy day.

Mine too; I watched 3 press conferences for our website's coverage of the event, and maybe 2 or 3 games got my attention. It was so boring that I played Symphony of the Night on my PSP through most of it.
