BCM is bank cubic metre. I.e. cubic metres insitu before blasting.

If you are interested I have numerous photographs of the 5 Draglines in operation at the iron ore quarries of Corby Steelworks in the UK that operated from 1950 to the works closure in 1980, there were three W1400 and one W1800 Ransomes & Rapier machines and one Buycrus Erie 1150B machine.
