If I saw correctly, I believe Ida did more damage as an ex tropical storm in NY than Louisiana/Florida. Oop nvm it was more fatalities in NY than LA/FL. I was commenting as I was watching. And then Larry hit Newfoundland in Canada. Last hurricane to hit Newfoundland was Igor 2010. And then in Nova Scotia Canada it was Fiona 2022 and then before it was Juan 2003. I might have skipped a few hurricanes but im not sure. I just remember those ones.

Maria - deadliest hurricane of the season Irma - strongest hurricane of the season and making 8 cat 5 landfalls. Harvey - Costliest hurricane beating Katrina's record Ophelia - Making a landfall in Ireland as a post tropical hurricane
