Thanks Robert currently I’m unplaced due to decisions I trusted through family in-laws. Moved from Las Vegas to California to settle down and retire but the place was in unlivable conditions. Now in California we don’t even qualify for housing. Sorry for absence but very stressed thanks for standing by my friend

Yes, “Michael, Row the Boat Ashore” is a traditional African-American spiritual that dates back to the American Civil War. The song was first recorded in written form by Charles Pickard Ware, who heard enslaved people singing it as they rowed on St. Helena Island, South Carolina.
