As soon as you have enough torque to lift the front wheel off the ground, any more would be unused for a dig style launch. The only way to use every ounce of torque off the line is to prevent the wheelie in the form of a drag bar, stretching the rear swing arm, or lowering the front end pitching more weight on the front tire.
