Thank you for your comment - my apologies for not being a little more direct. Mosquitoes are attracted to carbon dioxide, body heat, and body odours. Some people naturally produce more of these attractants, which is why mosquitoes target them more.

This is a wonderful programme. Many of my friends and family have tried this cheese in Cicily. The maggots as you call them are very small and not easy to see.
