Can you share the center you went to?

i have my surgery in april. Are all the food arrangements made by the center during the stay in mexico? Also, do i need to take any Mexican pesos for any expenses? do they have the same charger pin as US? thanks!

Thank you for sharing. Very helpful. Iam 9 weeks out of VGS I was told by dietician not to use a straw or drink form sports caps on bottle waters. Perhaps you should make sure if your allowed to use straws. Apparently it can bring air into the sleeve making you feel full.

How much did it cost there

I had WLS almost a year ago (January 23, 2020) and my program did 1 week liquids, 1 week puree, 2 weeks soft foods, and then general diet (but not potatoes, beans, nuts, berries, bread, etc. until farther out. No pasta or rice period). The liquid diet.... sucks! I was so happy when I hit puree diet I literally cried. I don't know if they've told you but I'd advise staying off the scale for the first 10 days because fluids given to you in the hospital will make you weigh more. Also, stalls happen. They are totally normal and the first one generally happens between week 2-4 and can last 1-3 weeks. It's normal. You are a much smaller weight than I was so you have less to lose lol. You can do it! (If you're curious here's my stats: HT: 5'7 HW: 389 SW: 321 CW: 202 Weight loss since surgery= 119 pounds Overall weight loss= 187 pounds). Congrats on your upcoming surgery and the beginning of your journey!
