You can leave it in drive or shift yourself

thank you for the video I could not tell what the difference was between the starshifter versus the mega shifter. I previously had the mega shifter in my truck and purchased the star shifter for my Chevelle and could not figure out what gear I was in I did not realize that it dropped down to First. The mega shifter drops down to drive and ratchets down to first one gear at a time and then back up through all of the gears. I like the mega shifter better.

I ordered it off of amazon but it comes with everything you need the brackets and cables and the column shifter I had to take out my self its jus one pin in it

Did you convert it fromt he column to floor shifter yourself? If so was it difficult and where did you get the cables and parts? tnx please email me @ [email protected]

no it wasn't difficult and all I did was take the steering column off and un hooked it .. they left the cable on the end of it cause I still had the od button hooked up but later I changed my switch

I have a Black 2007 P71 and my Transmission just went. I'm getting this setup since converting to a manual seems expensive. nice video thanks!

James Moesch it's better like this .. I didn't really like the column shifter ..
