Zero comments in over 3 years?? That sucks!!…too bad these guys never got recognition. They had a good chance, but fell into obscurity.

I think some foreigner fans have a hard time admitting that Kelly came in and sung Lou’s and Mick’s songs just as good if not better for longer than Lou. And in their old age, Kelly sounds way more like the studio released album than Lou does and Lou was the one that sang it haha idk I am only 25 and wasn’t there for that amazing decade but hearing it now and watching old live performances, Kelly is just better in my opinion.

There are cover bands all over the nation that do fantastic renditions of songs by Foreigner and others... but that doesn't make them a legit Foreigner. I can celebrate the songs of a band in many ways, but if I am going to pay and take the time and travel to go to the show, I want some actual legit band members there. Foreigner hasn't been that in years now. Disingenuous product, no matter how well they can play or sing. If both Lou and Foreigner come my way, I am very likely going to see Lou (I have tickets to see him in December), but have no interest in current Foreigner anymore, and I have seen them several times. Kelly is a very good singer and can mimick Lou well, but it's just not an acceptable product, to me, with no one on stage that actually created and recorded the original songs.

@@JWStuffVids I can see in that light why it would be more of an experience seeing the actual members that were the ones singing the songs during your childhood. Like my Dad would much rather listen to Lou as well because of those reason’s. For me it’s more about matching the sound of the album I grew up listening to with my father and since Lou and Kelly are up there in age now, I think Kelly does a better job. Now there are some live performances of Lou when he was younger that I thought man that hit every single note on the studio released album but there are also others in his later years you can just tell age has hit him hard. I just recently seen Kelly’s Foreigner perform and was blown away in how he was still able to move and interact with the crowd, that in my opinion is worth the money, which for 2 tickets being $60 it wasn’t too bad.

@@HungiHippos All opinions are fair and they sell enough tickets that it works for them and those who think your way. I think also, some of us who are older tend to have kind of an allegiance to our idols and lived the histories of the bands... so, I want to see actual legendary members far more than the replacements. Now, there are plenty of bands that have replaced some or even many members and I enjoy it because they retained some key members... but Foreigner is now down to zero on that and just doesn't appeal to me anymore then. I can go see area cover bands do fantastic renditions of Foreigner for free. The last time saw Foreigner was the first time with no originals there and over $100 spent on two tickets (Mick was in all the posters but did not bother to show up to instead attend some Foreigner musical). I did not appreciate that and have not given any thought to going to see them again. If they had been honest about the lineup, I would have not gotten tickets or expected a refund and just enjoyed the State Fair they played at that night instead. That is one of the big issues when something like that happens... I missed out on other events for something I found unacceptably not the product I purchased, and only learned once the band hit the stage. Imo, Mick has terrible ethics.
