so my vws buses type 3, T1 ragtops i basically gave away a handful of 15yrs ago... thos prices are smoked outta their minds. i sold my 3rd owner '69 ghia vert is really good shape for $25k couple months ago so theres that i guess

What I can see here there is half way done ... Floor pans, inner sidebars and posts are the problem on each and single old vw. Good luck!

It is at or above your voice level and makes hearing your commentary a little difficult to hear. I actually prefer to hear the natural background noises of the event anyway.

Just found your channel tonight and been enjoying your videos while doing some decorating. I've had my '74 Camaro and '72 'Vette for 30 years, they found me. A few months ago though, I finally got the only car I've ever really wanted, a 1963 Beetle. What a different animal it is! Wound up buying the little guy in Fort Bragg. The owner really didn't want to sell, but she'd had it a year, and she's right in the harbor. Rust was setting in. She sold to me because she could tell the way I talked about my Camaro, she knew how emotionally attached to it I was. She knew I wasn't going to be someone that flipped the Beetle or something, I had already fallen in love with the little car. I'm 50, and the Herbie movies are some of my earliest memories. Dumb little movies affected the way I feel about cars and their "inner life" or whatever, forever. Still, as much as I wanted one, the situation was never right for me to go looking, so I guess fate kinda dropped one in my lap. Pearlwhite hardtop, some rust in the heater channels and some very minor surface rust on the exterior, but still a beautiful car. Has a 1600 DP with a 1967 trans. Even though it's a hardtop, I think I'm still going to do the Herbie numbers and stripes. It's just too otherwise perfect not to. I'm not after a perfect replica or anything. Just trying to make my inner child's dream come true. Anyway, thanks for listening to my ramblings. I've already subscribed so see ya around.

When I was 13/14(back in 1966} my Dad sold his 61 Austin Healey 3000 that I adored and bought a 64 or 65 Notchback. I was devastated but soon got over it. It was a darker green with black interior. It wasn't as cool as the Healey but was a pretty rare car for the times. Bugs, Busses, and Ghias aplenty. He kept it a couple of years but got rid of it for some reason? My first VW was a 64 Squareback and I've owned 11VWs over the years. I currently have a 71 Super Beetle project that has been sitting dormant for a few years and need to get working on it again, but life keeps getting in the way. Wish me luck.😎
