@Curtis_Wooden_Shipyard8 күн бұрын
Hi Cathy, can't help you from here. Europe is a little bit to far away. Best guess is to contact local suppliers (hobby shops). On Facebook, a lot of groups are active on this topic. If you search for wooden model ship, model ship building, ... you will find a lot of results. When this still is unsuccesful, try the big company names (Corel, Amati, OcCre, Mantua, Biling Boats, ...). I wish you the best of luck. It would be a shame to not have the model restored.

Very nice detail work, great tips thank you, do you recommend putting the yards on before rigging? , I’m building the same ship but unfortunately from a different manufacturer
@Curtis_Wooden_Shipyard19 күн бұрын
Thank you! Spread the word :) There are lots of ways: some make the masts half and do the rigging of a half mast. Some do the rigging first and put the march on afterwards. What works best for me, is the way I do it now: I find it more difficult to put yards on after the rigging due to lack of space.It may also be that if the rigging is not 100% parallel with the mast, that it is very difficult to put on the yard afterwards. Some builders put on the sails on yards before putting the yards on as well. I prefer to put the sails on after rigging and on yards attached to the mast. If you have doubts, I may suggest you test different ways on different masts to find your own way that works best for you. Good luck! Best wishes Curtis
