I also built a 202 for my EH van that I had 80-82. It had basically the same goodies as Noel used in the 192 for my EK ute. With a 2.78 ratio diff out of a HT V8 auto and a 3speed all synchro gearbox it would cruise at 1900revs at 60mph. I revved it out in second gear one night and saw 95mph. It wasn't much quicker in third gear though. That diff gear suited the motor well.

My first registered car of many Holdens was an EK ute. It was light blue with a mild 179 and an HR disc brake fronted. It ended up black after an argument with a large cow late one night. I also had a hot HP 179 bored to 192 built by Noel Tuckey with go fast goodies and could do 135 mph and I couldn't believe it myself but at a consistent 100kmh (hard at 19yo) it got 30mpg. That was in 1976-77 and V8s of the day didn't like me much, lol. I could just about pull Holdens apart and put them back together in my sleep as I did 90% of the work on all the vehicles I've had in 48 years.

Fail no blocks create axle tramp and do nothing for the handling don’t stop body roll . The best way is to remove the leaf pack and the silly steel straps that wrap around the pack remove the centre bolt count 3 up from the bottom place that leaf flipped against the pack on top ..but on its side on the floor get big G clamps 🗜️ or slide clamps squeeze it all together aligning the centre hole put the bolt back in Repeat for the other side so it drops the ass about 2 1/2 to 3 inches so how it works is when cornering it pulls the inside of the body down and stops body roll gives the Ute 100 % more grip and eliminates axle tramp completely .. better for street racing burn outs and mr drifter work also I run Lovrelle lowered xr8 front springs as this stiffness every thing up makes the rear work even better
@armadaleautoparts-hotrodsh9313

the morris use a trailer brake master cylinder 3/4 bore the smaller bore size will give you more pedal displacement meaning the pedal will move more on the stroke but you will have more braking pressure
