@jay.killroy848 Maybe switching the voltage regulator the little black box with cooling fins. Another thing you can try is pull the plastics off.Start the bike and search the wiring harness for wires heating up.

3:57 I believe they would reach the bottom at the same time but for circumstance sake I get what you mean by polishing any ports because it does improve the flow of air for sure, a better analogy might be something like a concrete incline versus a smooth ceramic incline and how water would flow down it. For the most part I agree with everything here, good job man and good video, subbed and looking forward to more bike build/parts insight, I'd rather be running rich than lean! haha learned that the hard way melting a hole in a aluminum piston and and forced some titanium intake valves to show me their side thru the intake where the sun don't shine hahaha If you never fuck around then you'll never find out, I like to say haha Groms look clean, love it.

Handy tips. I'm considering getting one of these to learn how to ride and also start to get comfy with wrenching on a bike. Obviously some of these tips aren't really relevant for a modern fuel-injected, properly built bike, but I think just getting comfy tinkering with engines/cables/etc. is a good idea. I'm a PC building dork, but for whatever reason adjusting a clutch cable or popping a fairing off makes me nervous. No different than adjusting the timing of your RAM or taking the side panel off!

why not redirect the oil from the catch can directly back into the oil fill port?
@bikebilderbear6786
@bikebilderbear6786 3 ай бұрын
@warrenpeas Clever thinking. But the same pressure that blows oil through the vent line is in that same case area. There's a good chance.It would create too much positive pressure like just capping off the vent then all of the gaskets would seap.

Or people could be smart and not fall for this scam. All you gotta do is take the clutch cover off and adjust a bolt and a nut. Literally takes less than 5 minutes to take it off adjust and put it back on. Dont fall for his BS!
@bikebilderbear6786
@bikebilderbear6786 3 ай бұрын
@@Mrscruffyxx I agree with you.Most bikes just need to pop the clutch cover and adjust. Some are just manufactured wonky. I stopped making and selling my little part. After about two thousand miles of clutch poles. It just started working better.

my battery got cooked at 600 miles. first bike. too much fun. Rear axel hardware trash. no impact gun, just me. i cooked that shit. was i stoned and did i do the old upside down backwards tighen when i wanted to loosen. Totally possible. always tq-ed to 44. that hardware alloy is junk. thats what i think what the fuck do i know. need to get honda hardware or somethin at some point. first time i ever spun the threads from a nut onto a bolt that big before with my hands no impact, im may be crazy, def not a rookie. im sure im not the only one.

Crazy I have heard people have had some issues with that hardware. Fortunately I have not yet. I never use an impact gun. I use my five hundred dollar torque rench. A high dollar torque wrench is key for motorcycle repair specially if you own a harley. Lol.I have a good 1 for foot pounds and a good 1 for Newton meters and inch pounds. Bearings and axle hardware are on my mind to replace. But not until they start failing on me. One issue is a lot of people leave their axles and bearing to dry out of the box. I took all of my hardware apart Greased and reassembled . When I popped the bearing Shields, they were almost dry.Just a tiny dab of petroleum jelly. Even though honda hardware is in my future!!!!

The biggest thing I can advocate is make it safe and put miles on it. Ride it as much as possible. The shifting will suck for the first 1.500 miles. You will feel like Michael Jackson doing the boogie at stop lights trying to find neutral. Lol. But don't give up. It will smooth out!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The clutch is the same way adjusted properly for a long time.It'll feel like it pushing you at stops.
