I cud remember I was watching a match with Daren Ganga 2 in d morning. While he was fielding he was talking to d commentator an telling him .he was going to take his job commentating..He is doing a good job at it now.👍👍🙏🙏👏👏

Born from humble beginning in a rural community. Hard work and immense dedication is his hallmark. Rise to stardom was not an easy road. Great cricketing brains. Left the playing field to early, he had plenty more to offer. Now a great commentator. Has all the attributes to be a mentor for the young ones. Wishing him all the best.

Alvin Kallicharran was my childhood idol in cricket, used to see his videos through youtube, an elegant player with nice footwork against spin and pace bowling, he is the underrated cricketer, played for Worwickshire in English county for so many years, he is having good record against our country(india) in test cricket.

As kids growing up in India we followed his batting ardently! He would hook and pull the fastest bowlers with disdain.. MINUS helmet that is ! Name Kalicharan rang familiar to us and our elders told us he was an Indian descendant ! Brilliant batsman ! 🙏

I was blessed to shake hands with Courtney Walsh in 1987.We stayed in the same hotel and the west Indies had just trashed England 5-0 in a Test Series. When I shook hands with Courtney Walsh the first thing he said was BLACK WASH, MAN ! BLACK W ASH !😂
