Fun area of Montana. I spent about 48hrs and 50+ jet boat miles there this late summer to do some scouting for deer. We didn’t go back because we didn’t see the deer we were looking for. Great job on the video Steve and Keren!

Awesome! Congratulations Paul! Looks like an awesome float and hunt! So cool you used your Dad's .32 Marlin. I got my Montana Bighorn back in 1992, I have alot of points and maybe a ewe hunt may be the hunt for me as I am not getting any younger. I love that Steven videoed the Breaks rams and mule deer. My big question is did you catch any walleyes on your float? Again congrats to Paul and the team effort! As I age, the hunts just get better with a team especially when it's your kids. Great job Steven on this video, it will be one you will cherish forever, nothing like sheep hunting with your Dad and your Grandpa's old Marlin. What a memory. I really enjoyed it. Great job! By the way, skiing was really good at Great Divide today!

This was fun to see. Definitely NOT a money pit. I also have a Fleet shell on an F-150 extended cab. My (used) Fleet had a side dinette but I took that out right away. . Once I figured out why the furnace was not running, only in the coldest temps of course, it has been easy and dependable. I camp in extreme cold at times and made my own thermal pack from Warm Windows fabric for about $200. It's bulkier and must be taken down when top comes down but it insulates better than the camper's hard walls and it makes it much quieter inside. I don't regret my purchase for a minute. It's the perfect rig for me, size, gas-wise, and the ability to go where others aren't.🌲 Now I'm going to look for a paper towel holder like yours.

Not happy, stopped making the last version. And website is still using the reviews from that version for this new one. Used the last version on my sheep hunt for long period of time and many miles, carrying a 12lb gun, and was impressed how good it was! Why not keep making that last version!?

Oh man, I reread that comment sounds really bad but it’s the truth. It really is. I want you to know though. I’m looking forward to your content in April. I’ll be working 410s just like I was this April making sure in the background of your videos that you’re not in any of my spots good luck out there .. stuff being weekend warrior guy. I wake up on Fridays, just window-licker fried from the week but I enjoy watching your content and you’re good attitude and your total acceptance of the nameless miles somebody once told me as goodness in the miles, even when the heavy load is for years

I’m glad you got to experience that Steve I really am I’m 41 just about the time. I got really close to being successful at elk hunting -- damn on X .. after spending my teenage years in my entire 20s driving around all over the place spending tons of gas money living off of trash literally sometimes roadkill all of a sudden the great northern mystery was viewable digitally - and as much as I love to watch your content, bro, it’s guys like you - you know it’s sad to me that we don’t have anybody born and raised from Montana. That’s the voice of Montana. Steve Rinella build a house just up the road from my grandpa. Up Jackson Creek between Bozeman and Livingston. Holy cow. Now I work overtime just to be able to help pay for property taxes while guys like you are out there picking up the sheds that I know where they’re at, but just don’t have time to get to.. see you out there, man

I’m well into the process of building a pop up camper for my F-250 4x4, doing all the work myself, no weld, no special tools, built in my garage and driveway, sewing the canvas, 200w solar. About 2 weeks away from the base shell. Weight under 500#, cost in the $5k range, alum and alum clad panels. It can be done. Will post a YT walk around when finished.

@@Rx_James24 - I’ve taken some shots, living in a condo I can’t assemble and leave it together because of the parking situation, right now it’s a bunch of panels against the wall, next week I’ll take to my brother’s and start Sika-Flex 221, Rivets and bolts. Not big on the video and edit time so I’ll do a finish walkthrough video showing what I did and thought process not a step by step how to.

@jasonmariner5129Ай бұрын
The AZ OtC tag is overrated anyway. Overrun with pressure now that azgfd started paying KZbinrs to come down and pimp it out, especially in the units that remain open after the increase in pressure caused them to go to a quota system. Constant combat for glassing locations. People blowing out your stalks because they have no etiquette. Taking 80-100 yds shots because they watched a TAC video once on KZbin maiming the few mule deer that remain down here. Congrats on the 350 dollar donation to AZGFD and be ready to be dissapointed.
@philbolanos5473Ай бұрын
With this attitude there’s no point going outside at all. There’s plenty of good opportunity on the OTC season. Just gotta work for it. Now it just feels even better when you get a truly good buck. “Don’t wish for it to be easier, wish for more skills”
@johnnewcomb5162Ай бұрын
Arizona OTC tag is one of the best tags that you can get. You can tag out every year if you want. The problem is people are scared to death to get off the rhino or hunt within a mile off the main road.
@cousinjuddoutdoors2784Ай бұрын
Unicorn hunting... most of the units hit their limits with the first hunt. We would be more than happy to take your money though. Find a buddy with private property and a water hole.
@philbolanos5473Ай бұрын
@ that’s not even remotely true. 11 hunts out of 69 are closed from the early season. And three of those are only open in the early season anyway. Either y’all are some defeatist crybabies or you’re trying to deter others from a really fun hunt. Hopefully it’s the former.
@jasonmariner5129Ай бұрын
@@philbolanos5473 having seen my units explode with pressure since AZGFD started paying KZbinrs to promote the OTC hunts, I feel like I have a better stake than many to be having this conversation. Regarding what’s still open, 22 of those hunts will close after the first week in December funneling everyone who just got the ‘24 otc tag into a select handful of units increasing the pressure even more. Only saving grace this year is there’s a ton of water to disperse the deer so they won’t be massacred by people looking to sit water. We take deer every year on the OTC tags in Az, to the point that I’m sitting on 13 deer points in AZ. In the past 5 years, the pressure has exploded. People come in from out of state and setup camps right in the middle of Basins that used to hold deer driving them out and then wonder where all the mule deer are. We have the same conversations with them every year. Come on down though. We are happy to take your money. I think AZGFD should double the price of the otc tag for non-residents. You all would still pay it. It was their actions that lead to the quota system and caps on non resident tags anyways.

I'm a dyneema craving freak but didn't go that route with this tent. For starters it was out of stock. But it's only 6 oz difference. Dyneema is almost see-through and does not filter light well. A full moon can keep you up all night. It doesn't shed the snow as well either. For less than the dyneema tent I got a still poly and the stove.

Just ordered me a couple of these. One as a Christmas Gift for brother. Most of my whitetail hunting is in some pretty mountainous terrain in Northeastern Ontario and my rifle spends 75% of its time slung over my shoulder when I'm still hunting, tracking, and exploring new areas looking for sign. Can't wait for it to arrive. Hopefully it comes in time for muzzleloader season.

Your iPhone compass expects magnets to be there because MagSafe comes standard on iPhones 12 and greater! So, the magnets in your case will not mess with your compass.
