The toe-loop never picks the into the ice for the assist to make it a backward entrance *technically*. Thats considered a cheat.

Hi I really enjoyed your video, it's so lovely! ThinkVail.com is making a blog post about ice rinks in Vail, Colorado and I have included your video to show people what the Solaris Ice Arena is like. Since your video is shareable and I was able to embed it in my blog I believe you don't mind it being shared but I just wanted to confirm that it is OK to use. Please go to thinkvail.com/vail-ice-skating to check out the post with your video. Thank you so much. If you would like it removed just leave a comment letting me know.

You'd never notice the tiny details of the lutz if it were at regular speed. She jumps so high, she could for sure do triples.
@MV-bf8mu6 жыл бұрын
ASHERUISE A complete change of edge is not tiny and it is easy to detect even in normal speed

No way you skated this way after 3 months. You obviously had some formal training prior.

I’m currently 15 and started figure skating the last day of February so almost 3 months now. I’ve landed my waltz jump steadily and toe loop. Three turns consistent inside and outside edge. Can do spirals on the circle, can do Mohawks, crossovers, backwards crossovers too. Got my scratch spin and learning my back spin. I think it’s good progress but not really sure. The girls at my rink are doing doubles and there are many girls who are 7 who have landed their axels. So idk...

This is not slow motion technology. The same effect I can get through by decreasing speed in setting. And that was flutz, not lutz :/

you're traveling a little bit in your camel-sit, what would help is lowering fast enough and throwing your arms back instantly

I'm learning the basic waltz jump and the problem with these training videos is the 2d aspect. You simple cannot see how the free leg placement is away from the centre line during the jump/turn, it looks as if the free leg is kept close to the supporting/landing leg in the air. i tried to learn from these videos and always got it wrong until i had a coaching session, You really need to observe this technique in the real world for it to make any sense.

Well, you definitely shouldn't self teach yourself figure skating, but watching those videos is super useful

DSHz- Hades why you guys even watch figure skating ? Everytime i look a figure s. video there is a hundred judges in comment section
@laughysophie88187 жыл бұрын
a s c "judges" if anything it's constructive criticism. A lutz is supposed to be off an an outside edge so if it's an inside edge it isn't a lutz. Pointing out someone's mistakes isn't being a judge.

@thatpianistmoth6 жыл бұрын
Pugz123 well, of course. Both flip and Lutz take off from the right feet. Here she in the last moment changed to inside edge (look at the curve she makes on the ice) so it's a flutz

For an absolute beginner and to make all that progress in 10 months. That is some achievement.
@akaywololo8 жыл бұрын
Are you kidding? This can be achieved in 3 months.
@NatashaEstrada8 жыл бұрын
I don't know what world you live in. I'm an adult skater been skating for 9 months and I WISH I looked like that. Maybe young kids can get their in 3 months with their lower center of gravity and their willingness to fall perhaps.
