Hello Lydia, thank you so much for taking us along with you to pottery. I took a pottery class years ago and loved it so much. It’s a place to let your imagination run free. I love what you have created and can’t wait to see how everything turns out. That part is always a surprise as you said, glaze is unpredictable. Thank you

Fun pages. I love the way you ordered them, balancing the types of papers. It's going to be a chunky piece of goodness by the end of October. 😂

You are such an inspiration for me. I love your spirit - the ability you have to have fun and embrace the wonkiness of your creations. If I can find that sense of play inside myself I feel like I will have hit the motherload. Thanks so much for sharing this part of your life with us. So cool.

I think playing is hitting the jackpot of creativity. You're totally right about that! Creativity is not about a perfect finished piece, but having fun and just making stuff! Thank you so much lovely!

I think that textured plate is beautiful. 😌 I'm absolutely into the 70s 80s gandmness of it. It feels like something I would pull out of my grandma's "china" cabinet. Your city (cities? You've mentioned how long it is to drive places) is gorgeous, the coast is just unreal 🏖 i enjoyed this little sneak peek into more of your creative endeavors. Thank you for taking us along for something so special and dear to you! 💖

Such a fun haul Lydia! Really enjoyed listening to you and seeing what you picked out. We’re Harvest Plaid buddies, how fun ☺️ The pomegranate leather is such a stunning color and I agree that that cover would look beautiful on it. I think I have heard somewhere that the leather can get moldy in a plastic cover.

Oh! That is so good to know! Thank you Maike! And YES! Harvest plaid buddies. I saw your unboxing video too. Isn't it so gorgeous!? Thanks love.

Leather is skin, you wouldn't cover your skin with plastic, well maybe when it rains for a short time. We don't cover our leather handbags in plastic, you know what I mean. I know we are scared to mess up our planners, they are beautiful, and we want them to look new forever. I know I do. I think if you cover it in the plastic cover for a few hours when you plan on taking it outside to a coffee shop or something it should be ok. Thanks for sharing, I enjoyed the video.😊 I have the purple nights weeks but now I want the plaid one.🤩
@MementoNoMoriiКүн бұрын
I've had the olive leather weeks from last year on a clear cover all year and the leather is perfectly fine! 😊 The leather Hobonichi uses for their week is very thin and has been treated, it doesn't act the way a leather handbag does and doesn't really feel like leather either to be honest.
@polarbear_sunКүн бұрын
@@MementoNoMorii Thanks, that's good to know, I've never had the leather one. I might try one in the future.

I'm pretty sure the red text you see on certain days are the japanese holidays/special days, like 5/5 is children's day, for example. Great haul!
@februaryandjune18 сағат бұрын
Oh thank you for that information!
@Vanessa-mz1cs3 күн бұрын
Hi, I think they say the leather has to breathe, and if it is in a plastic cover, it could sweat and may go mouldy.

Okay! Good information! Thank you so much!

Love the depth of the colour of leather on the weeks cover. Stunning. Nothing like flipping an empty notebook 😊 Sarah ensign from ensign insights just posted a video today about the pentel brush pens. She swatches them all, that might help you see which ones you like on paper. Are you planning on using the pages in the back of the mega once this year is done? As swatch pages or anything? Just curious. Thanks for sharing!😊🤩
@februaryandjune18 сағат бұрын
It's such a gorgeous colour! Oh thank you! I'll have to check out her video! I am not sure if I'll use the paper or not. I haven't really thought about it. Maybe!

I think that image you said looked like the sun is a diatom, a type of unicellular algae. (or a desmid, both are algae), They're crazy under a miscroscope, they are almost perfectly symmetrical. They have silica cell walls that are transparent. It looks like someone mixed up board game pieces when a couple of them are grouped together. Science enjoyer here sorry 🙈 I'm sure googling the scientific name I can't actually see will confirm, either way it's a beautiful image. I love all the buttefly choices, was hoping you'd put all 3 😁 the cover feels like that change of season, soft yet seasonal. It's gorgeous 🤩 Excited to see what you do in here this coming month. Thank you as always for sharing! 😌💖
