They took the engine apart and rebuilt it but by that point I refused the car as I was within my 30 day grace period. They found me another M3, I kept that for 3 months and sold it as found it a little boring for my needs.

Hi mate I just brought one like this part done, is it a good engine swap to do? What are pits falls I need look out for? What gearbox you running on it?

Yes it’s an easy swap but depends on your goals. It’s a JC5 clio gearbox, for my goals this is likely going to be the weak point.

@@markdavis8056 I would like to see 400hp I think, so have been told I need to do a vw 2.0 gearbox (o2m) swap. So will also need to get fully forged engine rebuild. Have you done the whole conversion yourself?

@@JamesSmith-ux4rb yes with a little help here and there. Yes VAG box is a good idea, to be honest it might be better to whack a VAG engine in or even a K20, more leg work to start with but you won’t have issues with boxes.

They had to rebuild the whole engine so I refused the car as was in my first 30 days. They found me a different M3 replacement.

Much better now it's not running the joke of a map it arrived running! Looks awesome too. And an uncut GTT parcel shelf is worth about 6million pounds. The fact you spent 50% of this video talking about minor cosmetic issues on the body of a car that could well be 650bhp per ton shortly, shows 2 things- 1- You're blatantly gonna go all show car on us and waste thousands making it immaculate instead of it being the racecar it was intended to be. 2- You're bent.
