Everytime i hear him when he does Phantom he sounds incredible. Having seen him in Love Never Dies he looks like how he was describe in the book.

Ben Lewis is phenomenal in the role. Michael Crawford will always been my sentimental "first" favorite (and I love Ramin Karimloo almost as much), but Ben Lewis has a smooth, velvet voice that is as haunting as it is enchanting. He would round out my "top three."

Oh how I wish there was a dvd with Ben in POTO. I love his voice. So strong and confident yet vulnerable at the same time. For me, he beats "that other guy" by a mile.

I love Ben Lewis and his beautiful voice

The thing with Ben as Erik is that he gives the role a creepy and dark quality while managing to enhance Erik’s elegance and spirituality as a musician - while also embodying his possessive and control-freak aspects. At the same time, Ben’s also done something very unique that by far I’ve not heard from any other actors - his voice brings a history to the role. I don’t know if it’s just me, but when I listen to others like Ramin or JoJ or Hugh - or anyone, I do appreciate their own uniqueness and voice techniques and such, and how they present different versions of Erik. For example with Ramin, he has made Erik into a truly insane but genius artist; with JOJ or Norm, I can really feel Erik’s power. But with Ben Lewi’s performance - it’s something totally different. You could hear an entire life of living in shadow like a ghost, and how he lives with and hides his dark dreams and secrets that no one ever understood. That’s why I really like watching him performing Beauty Underneath in LND. The music itself is terrific (It nearly surpasses the Phantom theme for me), but it all makes more sense when Ben Lewis is performing the scene. I relate to that Erik so much that the song stuck in my head for an entire week non-stoping.

Aw no, I feel bad for him! Maybe he’s getting over a cold? That happened to me recently, I was singing something in a concert while recovering from a cold, and I was good for the whole song until the high belting at the end and my voice cracked pretty similarly to this😅 Regardless of what happened, he definitely recovered from it well.

I watched it on the 31st August this year, it was my birthday aswell .Killian is wonderful as the phantom

I prefer Ben Lewis over the other Phantoms. And the reason why is because his voice has continuity and control. Not that the others aren’t good. He is just my personal preference.

He's the Phantom I've always thought would look or sound like without actually knowing anything about the Phantom. Ben is too underrated

while ramins voice is heavenly, i think ben lewis really encapsulates the whole package for erik, his height alone makes him way more intimidating, especially in devil take the hindmost, it actually makes the whole "phantom is scary" thing actually make sense, when raoul tries to step up to him, you can see just the height alone makes him seem so much more uneasy

He’s really a trailblazing phantom. Played in the Swiss, German, US Tour productions, and on Broadway. Did I miss any?
