Not really, in the DB Minus manga he appears on a planet fighting another race, when they receive the order of returning back to Planet Vegeta.

Bardock still has his tail here. He got it ripped off when fighting Gas on Planet Cereal. Also he didn’t head back with the other Saiyan that appears on the ship with him in this video. He decided to stay behind to hide Granolah and his mom. He came back to Planet Vegeta on his own after beating Gas.
