I was fortunate enough to have heard Frank Warner at Silver Bay YMCA on Lake George, NY back in the 1960's. He was a true folk song collector and a great entertainer.

So poignant. I used to be a DJ and would slip in bits of John Langstaff on the Solstice.....and Tony Barrand and those Vermonters. They knew what mattered. Thank the Lord for these mighty men. Happy Solstice, friends......light a candle. Sing a song.

Never heard him sing... I had the Warner collection on two CDs, if I recall, but they were all field recordings.

Excellent man. My young 5-year-old grandson, diagnosed on the autistic spectrum, takes the book of lyrics and sings along with John's CD album, Songs For Singing Children. This is a first for him, who only began speaking at 4 and a half. He especially loves the "scary" sounding Skin and Bones with the surprise, "OH!" I love this man's gift to music and children. I love attending the Revels every year, as well, living in D.C.

simply amazing school,will always be my dream school, but sadly thats all it will be to me, a dream. Please keep doing what your doing, such an inspiration to people like me.

So enjoyable to view this again years later, see old friends and favorite places, and reminisce about good times.

I just don't get it, how so many people can afford this incredibly expensive university. For me it is just a distant dream to go there. The campus is beautiful, incredibly beautiful. That yellowish tone of the walls is sublime.

Great to see both the splendour and ease of the school. After watching this video I am morethan convinced that stanford university is a special school. students accepted there should feel very priviledged.

This video inspired me 3 years ago to apply to Stanford, now I as I prepare for the school year I'm on this page inundated with nostalgia about the college process. I don't know how many times I've watched this, but I'm so glad I did. Go Cardinal '16 :)
